Violet's POV

Church is boring, I know, but my parents somehow wanted us to go as a family so I'll just keep my mouth shut

We were all in the car driving up to church, I was wearing a white lace sundress with gold Tory's

I had my hair down as usual, wavy and soft

When we parked in behind the church, I tightly gripped my iPhone and I got out the car

I waited for my parents to come out and I looked at all the cars parked in here, Apparently many people still come to church

I was looking at all the pretty cars and then one caught my eye, It was a Mercedes in form of a jeep, It was a really pretty car, wonder who owns it

My parents and I walked through the sidewalk to get to church and we realized we were already late, We went through the back doors so that no one would see us enter

We sat down on the penultimate lane to listen to the lectures, I looked around everywhere to check if there was someone that I knew

I looked at the right side and then I looked in front of me, I saw the back of a head that looked really familiar but I highly doubt is his

Chandler's POV

I was sitting in the bench of church next to my brother and my mom, I had a navy blue plaid and kaki jeans with white white converse

I slowly turned my head because I hear some people come inside the church, late may I add

It was a 40-something year old couple that looks too familiar with a girl about my age following them, I couldn't see her face well but I think it might be her ,she looked up from her hands and you have to be kidding me

I quickly turned my head again and closed my eyes

What the actual fuck is she doing here? She never comes to this church I mean what the fuck

I try to ignore this feeling and just try to focus on the lecture, If she sees me I'll flip

I started fidgeting with my fingers because I was nervous she'd see me

She looked so pretty tho

I really need to stop thinking that, I hate her, and I'll also get better scores than her and beat her again, hopefully

Thank lord jesus christ that church is over, Now I only need to ever so smoothly get out before she sees me

Me and my family start walking out and I keep my eyes on the ground so there's no awkward eye contact, we're almost out,I think we're gonna make-

"Oh my gosh Catherine!!" Exclaimed my mom making me look up to see who it was and right at that moment, I knew karma existed

"Gina oh my god It's been so long" says her mom,well, better get my act going

"Hey Violet, how are studies going"
I tell her looking at her in the eye, she looks nervous yet excited

"Its great Chandler, thanks for asking, now how's that girlfriend of yours" she says getting closer to my face, I can see my brother giggling like a retarted frog from the back of my eye, and our parents shaking hands and so

"I'm working on it" I say winking at her

"So what about your science thingy" said my mom nudging our shoulders

"Yeah, you guys are together at that right" says her mom

"Yes" she says clearly

"We have meet ups for our project everyday after school starting tomorrow" she says smiling

Shit I had forgot about the meetups

"I think it's great that fact that the golden duo gets together again" says her mom referring to the nickname we had in elementary and middle school

"Yeah, they made splendid choices" says my mom

"Well, it's time to go right dad" I say

"Yeah,look at the time" he said

I walked past Violet and then my mom called me

"Chandler, say goodbye" I hear my mom whisper shout to me

Everyone was silently staring at me like if I was a zombie (pun intended) or something

I got closer to Violet and put my hand on her hip and I gave her a kiss on the cheek, I felt her flinch at that

"Bye" I said to her and I saw my mom smile, guess I'm free to go now

Our parents said their goodbye's and we all went our ways

"What was that" asked my brother laughing and getting in the car

"She got prettier" said my mom getting in the car

"I already know that" I said in my mind

Maybe I'll get to play a little with her now that we'll see each other everyday, I can tease her and I can distract her, It'd be hard if I tried not to get feelings for her but,
I guess I already failed at that

She took long to answer but she did see the message

That was fast, I was so close with messing with her, so close

Well at least I have her phone number now, I really hope tomorrow won't be awkward for us, because this project is pretty big and we really need to get on it like now, She'll probably take it seriously like she always does but then on the other hand, I'll probably start acting really nice with her and my feelings will get the best of me and BOOM! I ruin everything

I really need to get a firm hold of myself around her, I sometimes can't control it, it's just because she is so pretty an-

I tell myself, what if my good feelings for her are stronger than the bad ones? then our whole love/hate relationship will get ruined and things won't be normal anymore
