“Why do we need to meet them here? Couldn’t we meet them like you met their lawyer last time? Why do we need to invite them here, in our home? Why can’t we go to their house?” The scientist was whining non-stop while his hyungs were actually tidying up the house and he…. well he was just pretending.

“First of all, this is not your home. This is Mine and Hobi’s home, where you have forcefully occupied the second bedroom. Which might need to be made vacant if we ever decide to have a baby. Second thing, You don’t even have a place to call home. Dad’s place could be yours, but you won’t stay with him as you think ‘he is too full of himself’, ‘he is too clumsy’, ‘he smells like old leather’? Well, so here we are hosting the royals in my penthouse, where we don’t even have a place to keep the ‘ROYAL’ baby.” To say Jin was angry would be an understatement. His idiotic brother was acting way out of line. 

“Oh, if that’s the problem, we could convert the guest room into a nursery. So even when you decide to have a baby, they and my child can share it. Anyway I am away many of the days when I stay at the lab. It would be easy for you to look after both of them if they are in the same room. Right?” Tae ‘suggested’ while pretending to dust the couch.

“Hobi, please tell me this moron is joking! Get some sense in his head before I snap. He is telling me he is gonna be here even after the baby is born? And he means to say, just like I raised this ungrateful idiot on my own, I have to raise his baby too?”

Hoseok saw this coming, he really did. So he had his lines ready to calm his fuming fiance,

“Baby, calm down. Let me handle it okay? Why don’t you go inside and serve yourself some tasty lemonade that you made? Hmm?” 

“I guess I really need that. Thanks sweetie, you always calm me down, unlike some stuck up jerk called my brother.” Jin hissed, before walking down to the kitchen. Hobi then turned to the idiot in question and said,

“Tae, kiddo, why don’t we sit on the balcony and talk? Let Jin breathe a little. So the reason we cannot meet them out as there would be confidentiality issues, if the discussion goes south. And we cannot expect them to call us in the royal palace as there are protocols that we cannot fulfill in such a short time. We are bringing them here so there is a sense of familiarity for us, which would give us an edge into discussion. They get to see you have an established home, a structured family and means to provide the child a good future. This ups our case. It would be better to keep it hushed as the media would only create chaos and it would be difficult to get things sorted the soonest. So that's why I suggested we meet here. Even Joon is coming down. The prince wanted to meet him too. He wanted to have a status check on the surrogate and pregnancy. So please for god sake be civil, be at your best 'human' behaviour and please cut your brother some slack. He has been trying his best to support you and your case. Okay?"

"Okay hyung. I will try to be as supportive as possible. Just win this case for me. I don't want to lose it. You know, I have never lost a single competition right? I don't want to do that now. I'll ask hyung to pay you double for your fees." Saying this Taehyung walked inside the house,  searching for his brother (read as: searching for the lemonade his brother made.)

Hoseok stood there shaking his head and muttered, "Who says I am getting paid? Kims never pay me a single dime!"

Jimin tagging along for the custody meeting.

"Because on face value, we are not going there for any royal duties. In the media, it would be pictured as if we are visiting Yooni's friend for a casual 'celebrity' lunch. Can you believe his friend is getting married to 'the Kim Seokjin'! Can't believe I get to see him face to face, Kook-ah!" It was getting difficult for Jimin to hide his excitement.
