Virat was recently posted to a new place named Garhchiroli....
He didn't know anyone there....
He has got a cottage at the outskirts of that area....It was a good place according to Virat... Away from the hustle bustle of the city.... He has a big window in his house from where he can enjoy the beauty of Garhchiroli....
There was a Banyan tree just in front of his house...
He can work peacefully in this environment....
It's been one week... Now he used to feel alone at that place...
One Sunday morning...
Virat was doing some work in his house...
Suddenly he saw someone on the tree just in front of his house....
He ran towards the exit....
He stood in front of the tree and shouted...
'Kon hai waha... Bahar Aao... ' he shouted..
'Aapko waha pe kuch dikha kya??' someone asked from behind..
He turned and saw a beautiful girl standing in front of him...
She was probably in her early twenties....
Her silky hairs falling till her waist...
Beautiful eyes looking at him...
Her pink Lips...
She is so beautiful.....
She came Towards him..
'Tum kon ho...pehle to tumhe yaha nahi dekha?? ' he asked
'Mera naam Sai hai... Mai isi gao me rehti hoon... Mere baba ki ek dukan hai isi gao me.... ' she said
'Oh.... ' he said
'Boliye na... Aapko waha pe kuch dikha kya?? ' ahe again asked...
'Haa shayad waha koi tha... Tumne bhi dekha kya... ' he asked
'Nhi maine nahi dekha par logo ko waha hamesha koi dikhta hai... ' she said
'Kon?? ' he asked
'Meri behen..... ' she said
'Tumhari behen??' he asked confusingly
'Haa usne kuch saal pehle yahi pe khud ko faasi laga li....tab se logo ko wo yaha pe dikhti hai....' she said sadly...
She walked towards a stone and sat there...
Virat also came behind her...
He sat beside her and kept his hands in her....
'Tumhari behen ne aisa kyu kiya??' he asked
'Wo kisi se pyaar karti thi or baba shaadi ke liye razi nahi hue... ' she told...
'Waise Sai... Tumhe pta hai.. Tum bhut sundar ho... ' he complimented
'Aap meri behen se milte tab na... Wo mujhse bhi jyada sundar thi...' she said and laughed...
Her laugh is so cute...
'Waise tumhare aur kitne bhai behen hai?? ' he asked
'Mere do chote bhai hai..' she answered
'Ohh.... Tum abhi padhai kar rahi ho?? ' he asked
'Ab mujhe jana chahiye... Kaafi sham ho gayi hai.. ' she said
Then only he noticed that he is talking to her from last four hours...
Like this they started meeting everyday...
Everyday she used to come to meet him and they talk for hours....
There friendship was growing day by day....
One day he thought to surprise her...
He went towards the village...
He saw her picking something from the road....
'Ye kya kar rahi ho tum... ' he asked..
'Ye kuch beej hai.... Meri dadi iska istemaal karti hai to unhi ki liye isse ikktha kar rahi hu... ' she replied...
'Oh... Wo tumhe yaha nahi milega... Jungle me bhut saare honge chalo wahi se le lena... ' he suggested
'Haa thik hai... ' she said
They walked towards the Jungle area...
She saw so many seeds there...
'Yaha to sach me bhut saare hai... ' she exclaimed happily
They started picking them...
After few minutes.... They laid down...
Virat opened his arms for her...
She laid down keeping her head on his shoulder...
'Aren't you afraid it's only you and me?? ' he asked...
She just smiled...
She got up from there and silently walked from there...
After that day Virat never saw her...
Days passed but she didn't came back...
One day a boy came to deliver some grocery items to his house...
He remembered that Sai once told her about her father's grocery shop...
'Accha suno... Tumhari waha gao me hi dukan hai na.. ' he asked to the boy
'Ji... Aapko kuch chahiye?? ' the boy asked
'Nahi... Mujhe kuch nahi chahiye bas kuch puchna tha... ' he said
'Haa puchiye na... ' he said
'Tumhari ek behen hai na.... Sai... Wo kaha hai abhi?? ' he said
The smile vanished from his face...
'Nahi....meri ab koi behen nahi hai... Ek thi usne kuch saal pehle khud khushi kar li thi... ' he said
'Nahi wo to tumhari badi behen thi na.... Main usse choti wali ki baat kar raha hoon.. ' said Virat
'Meri ek hi behen thi Sai naam ki jisne khud ko fasi laga li thi..aap kisi se bhi puch sakte ho ..... ' he told...
Virat was shocked...his mind filled with so many questions...
Later at night the weather was so bad... His bedroom's window kept banging in the wind.
He got up to close it and as he looked out, there was a flash of lightening and he saw that frail body again... swinging on the banyan tree...the hairs were blowing in the wind...
He heard a whisper
"Aren't you afraid it's just you and me!! "
