The enemies start shooting out the lights of the light poles

Gaz launches a illumination round from a mortar launcher, Y/N sees a target laying on the ground takes a deep breath and fires the rifle killing the man instantly with a shot to the head then rechambers the rifle

Y/N: Copy (starts taking down enemy after enemy with the sniper rifle) Reloading!
Farrah: They're getting closer!
Alex: Hold them back!
As the battle continues they managed to defend the residence
US Solider #3: Hell Yea!
Y/N: Don't celebrate yet they'll be back (stands up)
Price: Give me a ammo count
Alex: Two mags left
Farrah: A mag and a half left
Y/N: I have two round left for the sniper rifle and three mags left for my assault rifle
Price: Check your shots make them count.
Then suddenly across the street a fire of a mortar can be heard
Y/N: Incoming!
Price: Everyone off the roofs!
When Y/N was about climb down from the roof a mortar round hits the roof he was on and dazes him and falls on to the ground his ear ringing his vision blurred then slowly regains his sight and see the photo he kept with him of Lizzie and him and remembers the promise she had him make
Lizzie's Voice: Promise me Y/N, you'll come back to me (her voices fades away)
Y/N: (whispers to himself) I promise
Then Price comes to his aide
Price: You still in the fight Y/N? (Picks him up)
Y/N: (regains himself) Always Captain let's finish the fight (picks up his M4A1)
Farrah: They breached the east gate
Alex: We're sitting ducks out here! (Firing his gun)
US Solider #6: I'm low on ammo!
US Soldier #4: I'm hit
US Solider #3: Mikey!
Y/N: We're being overrun! Kate where the fuck is that drone!
Laswell: Just finished refueling it's at your disposal mark your targets
Y/N: Finally! Kyle mark those sons of bitches
Gaz: On it!
Gaz proceeds to mark the area of the drone to fire a missile
Drone Pilot: Copy danger close
Y/N: I'm out (pulls out his pistol)

After about 7 missile strikes they managed to survive the onslaught

Farrah: On it captain (runs inside to grab Sulaman)

Laswell: We have a armored convoy heading your way 10 mins out this is your only window to escape to the airfield make it count
