Robin's POV.

It was Sunday, the day of the funeral. I am so nervous.

After getting ready, my mom drove me to the funeral.

Once we got there, my ma sat down somewhere else just incase if I go talk to y/n. But I know that I can't talk to her. I don't have the guts.

I look around, not a sign of seeing Katherine, Jason, and y/n..

I look to my left seeing Finney and Gwen. I smile and walk towards them.

"Hey guys.." I say.

"Hey Robin.." They both say.

The 3 of us go sit down, I look to my right seeing Katherine and Jason approaching us.

"Hey, thank you for coming." Katherine says.

I nod as Katherine and Jason sat next to us.

"Y/n is over there.. If you wanna talk to her." Jason points.

My gaze slowly landed on y/n. I immediately felt a zap to my heart once seeing her.

Oh crap... Ofc I still love the girl..

There she sat, next to her mom I believe it was.. Her head was down low, crossing her arms.

I was forced to stop looking at her as the priest began talking. The whole time I made little glances at y/n, she never even lifted her head up as the priest talked.

I look down at my feet, as I felt someone nudge me. It was Gwen.

She handed me a flower as they brought out the casket.. Immediately I hear soft cries from Finney, Gwen, Jason, and Katherine.

I tried keeping it together, though it is hard to keep it together.

As I heard more cries from all of them, I couldn't help but shed a tear.

Then everyone began to get up to go put flowers on the casket. We all get up to go out a flower.

I stood in front of the casket, then kneeled down to put the flower down.

I get up as someone stood across from the casket.

It was y/n..

I froze.

We both made eye contact for 2 seconds till Finn called out my name.

By the time I looked back at y/n she was walking away.. I sigh and walk away as well.

Robin's POV.

After hours of being home, I decided to finally have the guts to go check on them.

I get ready and headed out quickly.

Once I got there, I hesitantly unlock the door.

Katherine gave me a spare key.

I open the door, it looked so dull, empty, and dark. I sigh and took off my coat, and hung it.

I made my way upstairs to Jason's room. I knock, then hear a soft 'come in'.

I open it, seeing Jason sitting on his bed with his head down.

"Hey you okay?" I ask.

That's stupid, ofc he isn't okay.

"Yeah I'm just thinking." He shrugs.

"Where's your mom's room?" I ask him.

"Next door on your right." He simply says.

"Okay, be right back." I tell him.

I walk over and knock on the door.

"Come in.." I hear.

I open the door seeing the woman, sitting on her bed looking at a photo.

"Oh, you must be Robin.." She says softly.

"Yeah, hi ma'am nice to meet you." I take out my hand.

"Hi honey, nice to meet you too." She shakes my hand.

"No need to call me ma'am, just call me Stephanie." She gives me a small smile.

I nod and look at the photo she was holding.

"What you have there? If you don't mind me asking." I rub the back of my neck.

"Oh it's okay, it's just a photo of junior and the kids." She smiles.

Junior must be the dad.

She hands me the photo as I look at it, seeing Katherine, Jason, and y/n.

She had a big smile on her face, that made me smile.. wish I can see that again..

"It's a beautiful photo.. Are you guys hungry?" I ask her.

"Oh honey, no you don't need to make us food." She shakes her head.

"It's fine really.. I could order food if you like." I say.

She just smiles and nods.

I smile back and leave her room.

I go back to Jason's room and ask him if he was hungry. I go downstairs and went to the house phone that sat in the kitchen counter.

I put the number in as the phone began to ring.

"What are you doing here?" A familiar voice said.

Tingles spread through my body of just hearing how pleasant her voice sounds, after months without hearing it.

I slowly hang up the phone and turn around seeing y/n. She leaned on the door frame that led to the kitchen.

I could definitely see what Finney and Gwen were talking about. She isn't herself.

Not that I'm saying she looks like a depressed hobo or anything. She doesn't have the same look in her eyes when you look at them.

She looks dull, empty, basically blank. It crushed me even more of the sight of it. You can tell easily she isn't herself.

All of the sudden I had completely forgot what was happening.

"Huh?" I say.

She stared at me, giving me the look saying if I was dumb that if she had to repeat herself.

"I said, what are you doing here?" She says once again.

"Oh um.. Katherine asked me to.. Check on you guys." I bit the inside of my cheek.

She let out a light laugh, that sounded sarcastic.

"Why." She says sharply.

I was thrown off by the immediate change of tone, the flicker of expression, making me clear my throat.

"What do you mean why." I began slowly picking up the phone again.

"Yeah, you shouldn't be here." She stated in a tone that was obvious.

I put the phone down slowly, not knowing how to respond to that. I knew right away she wasn't gonna be happy with me being here. I quickly realized how unprepared I was for all of this.

Once she knew I wasn't gonna say anything, she let out a airy scoff and walked out of the kitchen.

I look back at her seeing her going up the stairs, once hearing her door shut slam I let out the breath I didn't even know I was holding.
