heedless of their warning words, she fell deep into her own cityscape.

the lights were as tender as the fogs ephemeral embrace, and oh, how truly alive she felt! as the waves of wandering washed over her worn fingertips, she only then realized that it was her passion to be a lost girl. stumbling down foreign paths and forgotten alleyways, her aloneliness enveloped her like some wonderful drug- but it would never wear off. in this way, it was like that fog, wasn't it? real enough to touch, but divine enough to get truly devoured in. freedom never lingered in the light of closed doors,  but in the gentle breeze of leaving the windows of herself open. limitless and unbound, the traffic roared down the street, and doing so drowned the tremor in her bones. the music was sharp on her ears, but she had always loved the way it consumed her thoughts like the ink she often spilled on her parchment.

she was unhinged, and it felt like flying.
