003 (Billy Hargrove x OC)

Chapter 16

-003/Trisha Henderson POV-

"The Mind Flayer, it built this monster in Hawkins, to stop El, to kill her and pave a way into our world" explained Mike to the adults.
"And it almost did" said Nancy. "That was just one tiny piece of it"
"How big is this thing?" asked Hopper.

"It's big" said Jonathan. "Thirty feet at least"
"Yeah" said Lucas. "It sorta destroyed your cabin... sorry"
"Okay, so, just to be clear" said Steve. "This... this big fleshy spider thing that hurt El, it's some kind of gigantic weapon?"

"Yes" said Nancy.
"But instead of like, screws and metal, the Mind Flayer made its weapon with melted people" said Steve. "And Billy is also under the control of the Mind Flayer"
"Yes, exactly" said Nancy.

"Yeah, okay" he said and looked at me. "How are you holding up, Trisha?"
"I'll be fine" I whispered. "I have an idea to get him back"
"Are we sure this thing is still out there, still alive?" asked Joyce.

"El and Trisha beat the shit out of it, but yeah, it's still alive" said Max.
"But if we close the gate again..." said Will.
"We cut the brain off from the body" said Max.

"And kill it" said Lucas. "Theoretically"
'But that would kill Billy as well... I have to hurry'
"Yoohoo!" shouted the stranger, he came back with some papers. "Okay, this is what Alexei called the hub. Now the hub takes us to the vault room"

"Okay, where's the gate?" asked Hopper.
"Right here" said the stranger. "I don't know the scale on this, but I think it's fairly close to the vault room, maybe 50 feet or so"
"More like 500" said Erica. "What, you're just gonna waltz in there like it's commie Disneyland or something?"

"I'm sorry, who are you?" asked the stranger.
"Erica Sinclair. Who are you?" she asked.
"Murray Bauman" he answered.

"Listen, Mr. Bunman" she said. "I'm not trying to tell you how to do things, but I've been down in that shithole for 24 hours. And with all due respect, you do what this man tells you, you're all gonna die"
"I'm sorry, why is this four-year-old speaking to me?" asked Murray.
"Um, I'm ten, you bald bastard!" said Erica.

"Erica!" said Lucas.
"Just the facts!" she said in defence.
"She's right" said Dustin. "You're all gonna die, but you don't have to. Excuse me"
He went to the table with the maps.

"Okay, see this room here?" he asked. "This is a storage facility. There's a hatch in here that feeds into their underground ventilation system. That will lead you to the base of the weapon. It's a bit of a maze down there, but between me and Erica, we can show you the way"
"You can show us the way?" said Hopper.
"Don't worry, you can do all the fighting and the dangerous hero shit, and we'll just be your navigators" said Dustin.

"No" said Hopper. "Nope"
He grabbed a gun and a walkie.
"Hey, heads up" he said and threw a walkie to Dustin. "You can navigate, just from someplace safe"

"It's not that simple" said Dustin.
"The signal won't reach" said Erica.
"Not with this" he said. "You need something with a high enough frequency band to relay with the Russians' radio tower. But for that to work, you need someone who has both seen their comms room and has access to a super-powered handcrafted radio tower, one preferably already situated at the highest point in Hawkins. Oh, wait. That's me. If you want us to navigate, you got us. But we need a head start... and a car"

"Steve" I said. "Look after him"
"I will" he sighed.

"El, you're bleeding" said Max, we went to the car to drive someplace safe.
"Are you okay?" asked Mike.
"Yeah" said El.

"Here, get her in the car" I said.
We all got into the car, but the car didn't start...
"Didn't your mom just buy this car?" asked Lucas.

"Yes, I'm sure it's fine" said Nancy.
"Did you leave the lights on?" asked Will.
"No" said Nancy.

"Do we have gas?" asked Lucas.
"Yes!" she shouted. "Come on!"
"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" shouted Jonathan. "Just stop, stop! Pop the hood"

They both went outside to see.
"What the hell?" said Jonathan.
"What?" asked Nancy.

"The ignition cable's gone" said Jonathan.
We heard an engine...
It was Billy's car...

"Billy" I whispered. "Everyone get out!"
"Back in the mall!" shouted Nancy.
We quickly got out and ran back in the mall.

"Scoops Troop, do you copy?" tried Mike again. "Scoops Troop, do you copy? We're trapped in the mall and in need of emergency transportation"
Nancy got a gun and I froze.
"You're gonna kill him, aren't you?" asked Max.

"This is just a precaution, okay?" said Nancy. "Trisha said she had an idea to free Billy"
"It's not just against Billy" said Will. "If he knows we're here, so does the Mind Flayer"
"No chance that thing'll drive, right?" she asked, looking at the car.

"We don't need it to drive" said Jonathan. "We just need the ignition cable"
"I'll do it" said Eleven and I shook my head.
"You need to heal" I said. "I'll do it"

I used my powers to get the car back up, so they could get the cable.
"You're getting good at this" said Max.
El suddenly got worried and went to the trash.

"Sister?" I asked and she grabbed a can of coca cola...
"What's she doing?" asked Max.
She tried to make it crumble, but nothing happened...
"El" said Mike. "Are you okay?"
She was scared and worried...

We heard rumbling...
"Mike, Trisha" said Max, she was looking up..
"Nancy!" screamed Mike.

The creature was above us...
We quickly ran to hide somewhere.
We heard and felt the creature come down...
It began to search for us...
El held my hand tightly...

"It's turned away" whispered Mike. "If we go up the stairs now, we'll make it"
"No way, not with El's leg" said Max.
"We have to try" he said.

"There's another way" whispered El. "To get out. Through the Gap"
"Okay" whispered Mike. "Now!"
We began to run, but we accidentally made a lot of noise...
We hid, hoping he would go away...
Lucas managed to distract it from us and we ran.

We managed to get outside, but we saw a burning car and Billy.
"Shit! Go!" yelled Mike and we ran the other way.
We had to go back inside the mall...

"In here, in here" said Mike.
We tried to get the elevator to work.
Max looked in the hallway...

"Billy" she said. "Billy, you don't have to do this. Billy, your name's Billy, Billy Hargrove. You live on 4819 Cherry Lane. Billy, please, I'm Max, I'm your..."
But Billy hit her, knocking her out.
"Max!" I screamed.

He pushed Mike to the side and I stood in front of Eleven.
"Billy" I cried. "I know you're still in there. Please!"
He grabbed me by my neck and threw me aside, making everything go black...

~ (start the music)

I came too, more quickly than Mike or Max.
I ran to the mall and saw Billy put my sister down in front of the monster...
Suddenly, fireworks landed on the monster, it was Lucas and the others...
I saw Billy and I focussed on him.
I got inside his mind...

"You" it was the Mind Flayer, looking like Billy.
"Hi" I said. "I'm Trisha. And I'm gonna ask you politely to get out of my boyfriend"
"No can do" he said and I smirked.

"Well, at least I tried politely first" I said and raised my hand. He hissed out in pain. "Get out! Give him back to me!"
"Never" he said and I pushed harder.

"Let him go!" I screamed.
The Mind Flayer was fighting hard, but then I remembered all the things Billy once said to me.
"Billy" I whispered. "I love you"

"I love you, Trish" I heard him say, and that was the final push I needed.
I screamed and pushed the Mind Flayer out of Billy.

I opened my eyes and saw Billy hovering over Eleven, he looked to me and I smiled.
"Trish" he said and got off my sister. "Trish!"
I ran to him, I saw the monster trying to after my sister.

I quickly pushed Billy behind me and used my powers to hold of the tentacles.
"Trish" he said. "I..."
"I know" I whispered. "I know"

Another tentacle came and I held it back as well.
"Please" I managed to get out. "Get my sister out of here"
"What about you?!" he yelled and I smiled.

"I'll be fine" I lied. "Now go"
"Trish" he said.
"I love you, so much, Billy Hargrove" I whispered. "Now get my sister out of here!"

Sorry for the cliffhanger (sorry not sorry?)Next chapters will be posted together, because I wrote 2 versions!One happy, one not so happy... but...Let's just leave it at that :)See you guys later for the new chapter!
