003 (Billy Hargrove x OC)

Ending season 3 (happy version)

-Billy Hargrove POV-

I grabbed Eleven and looked at Trisha.
She was barely holding on...
She was bleeding, she had fought too much already...

"Sister" cried Eleven.
"No" I said and I gave her to Max. "Look after her"
I ran back to Trisha and pulled her back before a third tentacle could attack her.

"Don't ever lie to me again" I said.
I wanted to protect her, so I shielded her. But another attack never came...
The monster began to scream out in pain...

I lifted Trisha up and ran to Max and Eleven.
When the monster was gone I looked at her.
"Trish?" she was unconscious. "Trish! Don't do this to me! You saved me! Don't leave me!"

I shook her, but she wasn't moving.
"I love you so much" I cried and held her closer. "Come back to me, baby. Please"
I rocked her gently. I couldn't lose her, not after everything.

I felt her take a breath and I looked at her.
"Billy" she breathed and opened her eyes.
I smiled and let my forehead rest against her.

"You're okay" I whispered and she smiled.
"You're back" she said and I nodded.
"Thanks to you" I said. "You saved me"

"Shut up and kiss me already" she said and I chuckled.
I kissed her lips and she kissed me back.
"I'm so tired" she whispered and passed out again...

4 days later

After everything that had happened, Trish was still unconscious...
"Billy" said Max and touched my shoulder. "She'll be fine. The doctors said she'd wake up soon"
"She hates hospitals" I said. "Never wanted to go to one"

"Yes, but these are different" said Max. "They know about what happened to her in the lab"
"Even more reason" I said. "I'm not leaving her, Max. I failed to protect her once. Never again"
"You did protect her" said Eleven, she just came into the room. "I saw"

"A lot of good that did" I whispered.
"Hey" said Max and actually hit me. "Stop it. Do you really think Trisha wants to feel your self-pity? Jesus Christ. She never gave up on you. So stop it already"
I held Trisha's hand and kissed it softly.

"Wake up" I whispered. "Please... I still have those tickets to California"
"We can watch over her" said Eleven and I shook my head.
"I said I was staying" I said. "So I'm staying"

"So loud" we heard and I looked at Trish. "Not so loud, please"
"I'll get the doctors!" said Max and I kissed Trisha's forehead.
"You're awake" I said and she smiled.

"How long?" she asked.
"4 days" I said and she touched my face.
"I'm sorry" she whispered. "For worrying you"

"It's okay" I whispered. "You're okay now, that's all that matters"
"Are you?" she asked and I nodded.
"Whatever you did" I said. "It even got rid of the damage the chemicals were doing. I'm completely human again"

"Good" she said. "I'm glad"
"I love you" I whispered and she smiled. "I know I said it before. But I really love you"
"I love you too" she said and I kissed her lips softly.

Three months later

-003/Trisha Henderson POV-

I got accepted for a college in California...
After going there with Billy, we met up with his mother. Who kept apologising to him and cried.
She offered her vacation house close to the beach to us, so we'd have a place to stay.

It was good for Billy, reconnecting with his mother. He had really missed her and never blamed her.
Billy was gonna go work and I was going to study art.
And we needed this. A fresh start away from Hawkins.

El was gonna live with the Byers in California, so it was nice to be near her again.
"I'm gonna miss you" said Dustin, before Billy and I were going to go with the Byers. They were giving us a ride to California.
"Me too" I said and hugged him tightly.

We said goodbye to all of our friends and family.
I hugged my new mother and she was crying.
"You make sure to visit, okay?!" she said and I nodded.

"I will, mom" I whispered and she hugged me tightly.
"I'll look after her" said Billy. "I promise"
"You better" threatened my mom.

We got inside the car and he held my hand.
"You ready?" he asked, I saw his wrist and I looked at it.
"What's this?" I asked and he showed me his tattoo.

"I know it reminded you of a bad time" he said. "But now, you can think of it as something we have in common. A reminder that you are not alone"
"Billy..." I whispered. "I... I don't know what to say"
"You don't have to say anything" he said and kissed me softly. "Just know that I love you"
"I love you too" I whispered, softly touching the numbers on his wrist...

So this is the ending I wrote before I saw season 4.The story will continue, based on the previous chapter!I thought it'd be nice to share with you guys the alternative ending I wrote earlier :)
