I ran around searching frantically. It had been a sunny day, but now, I could barely see one step in front of me. The wind howled with such rage it scared me. I finally came across the barbed wire fence and I followed it down south. Careful not to run my hand along the spikes, I walked and walked until my legs hurt. I was about to give up when tears started to blur my vision. But then I saw it. A small piece of blue fabric blowing in the wind. She was out there, I had to keep going.
