Lost in The Maze

Seeing the sky,

The gloomy horizon,

stained in dark colors,

A single boat tied at the shore,

He hears her pounding heartbeats.

The evening glimmer and her love

will fade into the shrouding darkness.

There's no one beside,

dry winds blow, low.

A lone traveler under the shade—

There's none to reach for his hand;

He's lost in the maze.

Darkness shrouds,

His cries have dried

in the cold sounds of the forest.

Calls from the past haunt his mind,

the winds blow faster.

Dust and grit engulf his thoughts—

Trees swinging to and forth,

as a sudden rain shower made it blurry.
