I woke gasping for air as the bad dream disturbed my mine. In an instant I'm pulled into an embrace "You're okay, shhh" I look to see him staring me

"Your okay Lila" his hazel eyes entrap me giving me the comfort of love and his hand rests on my bump "bad dream?"

"Yeah, I don't even remember what it was" he kissed my forehead pulling me tight into his arms

"It's over now Bellissima, you and Kingsley are safe with me" he rests his hand on my bump soothing me back to sleep and then I turned back to him

An alarm blares and I gasp from my slumber, woken from yet another cruel dream by this stupid alarm clock. It's meant to keep me on schedule, it's been two weeks. Tomorrow is the end of my time here

It's been surprisingly helpful, each day we have a schedule along with school built into the framework of it. But they know I'm working during a mental health leave.

The only people who know of me here are Gwenyth, Sloan, Adonis and Mom. They've all come to see me, together, alone and all different times. The person who shocked me the most was Adonis, I knew Sloan had called him. I wondered what had been stirring up between the two. But also mom after losing dad, she was hurting.

But I was healing, I missed home, I missed him. I missed my bed and the way the sheets smelt of him. But in two days I'd be able to leave.

From what I've been told. Adonis hadn't spoken to Ace. He's only spoken to Myles and Evander, Myles because our weekly meetings have been paused and Evander because he easily feels left out of the loop.

I wanted him here, I was hoping each day that I'd look in the doorway and Ace would be there. But things are different and from what I've heard, his fathers doing his best to kill me.

The knock on my office door came, along with the appearance of Alistair "Myles Lewis is here to see you sir" I looked up to him nodding his head

I'd been buried in paperwork and fixing mistakes my father was too lazy to do. The door creeked open and then shut drawing my attention away

"Hey Buddy" I rose a brow at him "you rather me say howdy partner because I'd do it" I sighed looking down to the papers dropping my pen on top of them

"You here to give me the company update... how is she?" He took a seat in the leather arm chair looking at a loss for words "what?"

"Well you see, Adonis informed me of something and so me and Lila haven't been able to have these meetings because she's got a lot going on. Her life is very stressful right now so-"

"What do you mean? I get it I'm a dick I left okay, but she strong, I know her and she's able to do things without me" Myles leaned back further

"Ace I know the woman's god damn strong, I'm actually intimidated by her!" He began to laugh "I decided I had to tell you now rather than later because the tabloids dropped today. Apparently they've been building sources" he slipped out his phone showing me the article

"Lila Lost?"
