"hi" bruce trails on, the two just stand there. in silence. at this point amy is in her room probably watching a show
"i wanna explain" vance finally speaks up "oh?" bruce says crossing his arms "here let's go to my room" bruce says walking up the stairs with vance following behind him
they both sit down in bruce's room facing the wall side by side
after about 20 minutes of vance explaining bruce goes quiet looking down, "that's, that's uh what happened" vance speaks up feeling tears in his eyes
he wants bruce back, bruce was the one person who was there for him. he told him before his own mother. he generally cared about bruce. and he wanted to think that bruce cared about him. he never would have expected to be in this position with bruce yamada. THE bruce yamada. the golden boy everyone wanted to be with. the golden boy everyone wanted to be friends with. bruce yamada was perfect in every way and nothing was able to change vance's mind about it.
"please, please don't be lying" bruce cries tears falling down his face, vance felt himself start to cry hearing the statement "i'm not, i promise you" vance responds his voice breaking "you promise?" bruce asks, "yes..." vance says looking at the wall "im not to fond of second chance lovers, because they are always an abusive person and a love sick one. but i don't think that's what this is. i hope it's not, please don't make me regret his hopper" bruce sighs also looking at the wall
for a while they both stayed quiet, not knowing how to continue. vance slowly makes his hand to bruce's intertwining them together, bruce feels himself getting red and vance can feel the same.
"im sorry, for everything" bruce speaks, "no! what! don't fucking apologize! it's not your fault it's mine, don't EVER apologize for something you didn't do ever fucking again!" vance pulls bruce's face to look at his. "okay im sorry!" bruce laughs out "you did it fucking again!" vance laughs along with him.
laughing soon turns into a kiss, and a kiss soon turns into making out with bruce's sister in the room next door
"but in all seriousness i'm sorry bruce. i should have stopped her when she got weird and too affectionate with me" vance sighs "don't put all the blame on yourself, plus it's her fault. i'm glad donna jumped her not gonna lie." bruce looks to the side "she what now!?" vance exclaims jumping up with messier hair, bruce sits up also with messy hair "yeah, donna jumped her" bruce laughs "holy shit that's amazing" vance also starts laughing, "yeah it is" bruce smiles looking at vance
he pulls him into another kiss and soon again they are making out on his bed, vance laying down on the bed and bruce laying on top of him. the blonde can feel the other smiling into the kiss, he rolls over so he's on top of him. bruce's arms wrap around vance's neck. vance makes his way down to the neck
he pulls away "is this okay?" he asks "yes" bruce responds blushing like crazy
"i love you" bruce says, vance quickly pulls away "w-what?" he asks "i said i love you" bruce repeats again, vance feels his face beating up "you know what pretend i never said anything" bruce attempts to brush it off with an awkward laugh "i love you too yamada" me smiles back at bruce "really?" bruce smiles "yeah, yeah i really really love you" he pulls vance back into a kiss
a warm feeling makes it's way into both of the boys heart, knowing that there will be someone there for them, there for them always. glad to know that they have eachother
