You stare at the negative balance of your Anarchy Battle points. No matter how hard you tried, it seemed like you couldn't climb the ranks.
Fed up with the game, you set your Switch to the side and grab your phone.
You currently had Ink Me Up by the Squid Sisters playing. Listening to music from the game helped you lock in for your matches.

You pause the music then tap the Nintendo Switch Online app and head to the Splatoon 3 section. You made it a habit to browse the clothing selection on there daily.

They had a variation of the Squidkids with the Stealth Jump ability. Without a second thought you place the order then exit from the shop since nothing else grabbed your attention
You skim across the other apps on the screen when you notice a feature that previously wasn't there

Curious, you tap the squid application and to your dismay nothing happens. You stare at the screen for a few seconds before you start to move your thumb towards it again
Before it can make contact with the screen your surroundings go pitch black and you freeze. You swivel your head around and turn on your phone's flashlight
( Did the power go out?)
You try to get up so you can test the light switch but you find yourself unable to move now. You remain silent and still in the unsettling darkness.
You blink once and your surroundings become illuminated again. It took a second to process but you realized were no longer in your room

You look to your left and a small salmonoid returns your gaze while smiling at you. You look to your right and see a jellyfish. You look in front of you and see a desert-like area outside the window The familiar scene hits you.
