Chapter 14

(Still nothing.) You thought to yourself as you checked your email. You heard from some other members of the drama class that they had received emails from scouts encouraging them to audition for some pretty big TV, stage, and movie projects. While you were excited for them, you couldn't help but feel a bit bummed out.

It's already been two weeks, wouldn't they have reached out to you by now? With each passing day, the chances that you got scouted from the school musical seemed less and less likely, and you sighed at this thought. It didn't look like it happened this time, seems like it was back to going to open auditions in hopes you can land something.

As you leaned back in your chair, you felt your phone buzz. You picked it up, only to see it was Choco Ball. You smiled as you opened up your messages app.

Choco Ball: Hey babe! Wanna video call?

Y/n: Hi Choco! And that sounds good!

Choco Ball: Great! I'll set it up now!

You felt a bit of warmth rush up to your cheeks. It's only been a couple weeks since you and Choco Ball became an official couple, but you've been cherishing every second of it.

As your phone rang with a video call, you quickly sat upright and made sure you looked ok. It was with Choco Ball after all, looking like you just woke up was out of the question. After quickly checking over yourself in the phone camera, you held it up and pressed 'accept'.

"Y/n!" Choco Ball exclaimed, a wide smile crossing his face. He was laying down in his bed, with only his upper body visible. He was wearing a tight, plain black tank top with a low cut, not only showing the entirety of his lusciously toned arms, but also a good deal of his pecs.

Needless to say you were blushing pretty hard, and Choco Ball seemed to notice.

"Hm~? You seem to be enjoying this babe."

"I-I can't help it! Your teasing is just too effective on me..."

"Well, can you blame me when you're this cute~?"

"A-a-a-anyways! Did you need anything from me? This is a bit sudden."

"Hm, not really. I just wanted to hear your sweet voice and see your cute face."

"A-ah." You were blushing wildly, and Choco Ball giggled a bit before becoming just a bit more serious.

"So, how's everything going? Still no word?"

"No... nothing. It looks like I didn't make it this time."

"Aw, seriously? You were so amazing up there though, those scouts don't know what they're missing!"

"Thanks, but it's ok. There was definitely room for improvement, and besides, there's always going back to open auditioning."

"But still, rejecting you? I don't even know much about acting and I could tell you did amazing."

"That's what I thought too, but I guess it just wasn't enough for them."

You sighed in disappointment, and you could see a bit of worry come across Choco Ball's face, although it disappeared just as quickly as it came.

"Well, anyways, I was wondering if you would like to go out with me sometime soon. I heard about this new movie that came out recently, and it seems like something you'd be interested in so, wanna watch it with me?"

"Oh! Uh, sure! That sounds like fun! What time were you thinking?"

"Hm, probably this Saturday at around 6:30ish?"

"That sounds good! I should be free then."

"Great! See you then babe!"

"S-see you then!"

Almost ask quick as he came, Choco Ball reluctantly hung up, leaving you with just one of his bright, wide smiles. You didn't even have to check to know you were blushing insanely hard.

You yawned, it was already pretty late, and you had classes tomorrow. You figured it was probably about time to get to bed.

As you started to wrap yourself under the covers, you couldn't help but blush a bit more and giggle with excitement. There was no way the weekend could come quick enough, and thoughts of you spending the day with your boyfriend filled your head as you drifted to sleep.
