WALKING through the mall, Julie and Sophie discussed how exactly their dorm room would be decorated. They both had posters they wanted to put up but didn't want their two sides to clash. It was a good thing the two had similar tastes as it was easy for them to compromise and be completely happy with it.
They had decided that they needed some things from the mall to finish off their room which is how they found themselves where they are now. The pair browsed through the different stores in an attempt to find things that would go well in their room without taking up a whole lot of space. Their dorm was already barely big enough for them and they didn't want to make it worse by having too much stuff.
"I am not excited about starting school tomorrow," Julie sighed as the two looked through different types of wall stickers. "I just know Charlie is going to hate our new coach because its not Bombay."
Sophie sighs as she puts down a package of flower shaped stickers.
"I know what you mean. I have a feeling at least one person is going to do something to embarrass us in front of all those rich kids."
Julie nodded as she tilted a package of butterfly stickers towards Sophie.
"Yeah, I just hope its nothing major. I want us to keep our heads down for a while until we all get used to this place," Julie spoke softly as she thought about what kind of trouble their teammates could possibly cause. "I have a feeling the other kids aren't going to accept us that easily."
Sophie sighed as she nodded. She grabbed the butterfly stickers from Julie and examined them quickly before deciding the two should get them. With that package and a package of both moon and star stickers, the girls made their way to the check out line.
"I hope nobody messes with Kenny," Sophie spoke after several moments of the two standing in silence. "I know the team will look out for him but he hates confrontation and more than likely won't stick up for himself. Like you said these kids aren't going to accept us right off the bat and Ken looks like an easy target."
Julie wrapped an arm around the other girl's shoulders, pulling Sophie into her side. Her hand ran up and down the girl's upper arm as she rested her head on her shoulder.
"I know what you mean," Julie frowned. "Just remember that he has all of us. You already know Russ and Fulton would take out anyone who messes with him and that's not taking into account that you would probably already have dealt with whoever it is."
Sophie lets out a quiet, breathy laugh as she nodded at the other girl's words. Julie was right. Sophie herself would do anything for her best friend and she knew that she could always count on Fulton and Russ to assist her in whatever revenge she had planned for those who messed with the Wu boy.
Before the pair could speak anymore words between themselves, it was their turn to check out with the cashier. Once Julie had paid (the pair were taking turns paying for their décor items), the two walked out of the store and resumed their journey through the mall.
"Alright I'm going to head to the music store to check out if they have any vinyl on sale that we could hang on the wall," Sophie said as she noticed said store come into view.
"Okay," Julie nodded with a smile. "Once your done, meet me in the food court. I'm starving. Want anything?"
Sophie thought for a moment before pulling out a ten-dollar bill and handing it to the blonde girl. Telling Julie to get her whatever sounds good, Sophie begins to make her way toward her destination.
