Part ten- letters on the plane

I looked at chris,he looked so sad it broke my heart,I hugged him once more and gave him one final kiss before I picked up my bag and headed for the plane.

That short walk from chris to the plane was one of the hardest I had ever done. Some may say "oh it's only 3 months" but this was a long time for us.

Just as I got to the plane I heard a voice from behind me shouting my name.

"Wait!Amelia wait!" It was chris.

"What's up?chris I have to go." I held back my tears.

"I wanted to give you this,I completely forgot about it." he pulled out this little bag that had a nice little ribbon tied around the top to keep it sealed. "Don't open it until you get to new york,but you can open this when your on the plane." chris gave me a small envelope with the words 'read when:you're on the plane to the land of dreams' written on the front with a cat sticker underneath it. He's so cute and random,I love it.

"Thanky-" I began to say before I was interrupted by the flight attendant. "ma'm we really need to set off,if you are boarding please take your seat."

I turned to chris,kissed him and promised I'd facetime or call him as soon as i got there. With that I boarded the plane and took my seat.

I was sat in a nice little place on the plane,no babies or little kids to interrupt my Netflix with their crying,no one sitting next to me,a window seat and no one sitting behind me. wonderful!

I took of my shoes and put my bag on the seat next to me,i pulled out my MacBook,put it on the little pull out table infront of me and turned it on.

I still had a face full of makeup on so I decided to take that off whilst I was waiting for my laptop to load. it was only an hour and a half flight to newyork from Canada so I was going to spend it catching up on some shows. I opened up Netflix on my laptop and reached in my bag to grab my headphones..when I realsised I left them in chris' car,damn it.

Well since I didn't have my headphones I figured I'd open this envelope which was surprisingly chunky for what I presumed was just a letter. I had an hour and half to kill so why not open it now. I was very tempted to open the gift bag he gave me but I decided not to since he didn't want me to until I reached New York.

I opened the envelope and pulled out a piece of paper and a little present that was wrapped in Christmas wrapping paper with a note on it saying 'sorry,i couldn't find any other paper' I laughed,adorable.

I unfolded the piece of paper and began to read the words he had wrote. it read;

To my beautiful amelia<3
Look at you,off to New York,living it up for a while aye. I'm guessing you're reading this on the plane,well if you did as your amazing,wonderful and thoughtful boyfriend told you,you are. I know I'm not going to see you for a while and it's going to be hard to not be with you in person but you better facetime me every single day that your away or I won't buy you nerds ever again;) haha I love you to pieces,i know this is what you needed to do and I'm proud of you for taking a step into the unknown and being independent,counting down the days until I see you again.

P.s I'm so thoughtful I put these in that you forgot,i know how you can't go a day without them and im guessing your going to need them to watch Netflix or something. -see present behind this letter,love you.
