Now, I want to get one nitpick out of the way. That double ad before the fight was stupid and slowed the momentum leading into the fight

Now I really enjoyed this episode but there are a few issues

When both Jason and Michael fight, the camera is zoomed in. Too close when clashing knife and machete

The camper stuck in between the two killers kind of sucked. The campers death was good but he stayed alive too long

They have a car as a weapon in Michael's arsenal but is never used to try and ram Jason (which could have lead Jason into stopping it like in the game)

Now positives

I like how both Jason and Michael's rundowns were told as spooky campfire tales (with Ringmaster, Dummy, etc disappearing (forgot her name) throughout)

Wiz and Boomstick arguing about whether Jason could teleport was actually pretty funny

Michael's rundown was alright

Despite the close in with camera, I like them countering each other's attacks

Michael pinning Jason to the tree was a neat callback to the 1978 Halloween movie

During the second hand to hand part, I did like Michael casually picking up a tombstone to hit Jason with

The ending blows were alright, I think them stabbing the shit out of each other was good, though the killing blow was kind of underwhelming. Jason decapitated Michael(with Michael's own knife was cool)and then swings the ax against a tombstone splitting his head in two while embedding the ax in it(though how Jason overpowering Michael to stop his head going into the pic end was cool)

And it was kind of weird that after killing Michael, Jason is walking away but lingers on him long enough you think Michael is somehow not dead

Jason Voorhees wins

Overall really liked this episode, my favorite so far (a little bias here 😅)

Next is Sauron from Lord of the Rings vs The Lich King
