Newt watched his lover as tears started to blur his vision.
"This isn't fair..."
Newt whispered as his eyes met Y/n's.
"We should have more time........we need more time."
A soft smile formed on the H/c boy's lips and he reached up to place his hand against Newt's cheek.
"We both knew we wouldn't have enough time when we started this."
He took a deep breath and tried blinking away his own tears.
"We can't regret it now."
"But it was supposed to be our forever."
He whispered.
"You were supposed to be mine till the end, remember?"
He wanted to scream, shout, anything to stop his emotions from fingers out to much.
Newt didn't like this feeling.
He didn't want to lose the love of his life.
He didn't like the way his heart was breaking.
"I'll always be yours until the end, and you'll always be mine."
"I couldn't be happier that I got to spend the this part of my life with you."
"Who knows..... maybe we'll meet again in another life."
He wiped the tears that had fallen from Newts eyes and wrapped his arms around him, drawing the dirty blonde haired boy closer.
Newt learned into him so that his head was pressed against Y/n's chest and closed his eyes at the sound of his heart beat.
It was getting slower and slower with each passing second.
If Newt could switch places with his lover, he would without any hesitation.
How was he supposed to live without his H/c lover boy?
How was he supposed to move on.
How could he love anyone that wasn't Y/n?
It all seemed to impossible.
Y/n's arms started to loosen around Newt, but he wasn't ready to let go.
"Not yet."
He begged.
But he stayed still as he listened to the soft beating of Y/n's heart slowly come to a stop.
