It's late, I'm tired, but I wanted to write about this. Don't take this too seriously.
This isn't really a topic talked about much anymore but I just had to bring it up
My reading teacher (Mrs. R) is making the biggest FrUking deal out of there being a gay side character in a book she was suggesting to us
Mrs. R: Yes, there is a gay character in it, but being gay is okay, and it's not even like he's the main character. Just remember that it's okay blah blah blah blah
Oh, and Indiana recently pasted some law about not employing you if your gay or lesbian or something
Why do people care? Why make such a big deal out of it?
I personally don't give a single crap about whether or not someone's LBGT
The fact that someone who is supposed to be teaching me is make such a big FrUking deal about it just seems wrong
Aren't teachers supposed to be un-bias? (It's impossible to be completely un bias, I know..)
I live on the internet. I watch gay youtubers. Does it affect the content they're making? No-pe!
The funniest thing about this to me is that the internet -the land of "cat videos and trolls"- uses it as a joke, and most actually don't care, while the "real world" makes the biggest deal of it.
On the bright side of things, more and more states and countries and stuff are giving the LBGT community equal rights.
I'm gonna go before I offend someone or make some mistake that I'll never hear the end of..
