Belle's POV:
Why was I getting called up into Guidance? I hadn't done anything wrong lately... Right? Thinking back, I recalled everything I'd done in the past month. Hmm... Nope. Nothing worthy of getting in trouble for.
Absentmindedly I asked Corey what he thought we were going to Guidance for, and he just shrugged. I'd forgotten how helpful he was. Note the sarcasm please.
We walked in silence to Mrs. Miles, the guidance counselor's, office. I reached for the doorknob to open the door, when it opened by itself, revealing a cheery Mrs. Smiles. What the crap was she wearing?? It looked like crayons had puked over her face, and a 5 year old had picked her clothes - all pink items. I stopped myself from busting out laughing, and looked over at Corey, who had a 'WTF' look on his face.
"Hello Miss Belle and Mr. Smith!"
I uneasily replied, "Umm.. Hey?"
She ushered us into her office, and motioned for me and Corey to take a seat. I carefully sat down in a blue chair, and was swallowed up by cushions. "Mmmph!" I muttered incoherently, trying to get up while Corey sat on a purple chair laughing. His was plastic. Why did she have so many different mismatched chairs in here?...
"So, I presume that neither of you guys know why y'all are in here?"
"Nope."
"Nuh-uh." Corey chimed in.
"Well, let me give you a hint. This has to do with a former incident earlier this week.", she said slightly coldly. I thought back, and a lightbulb went off.
"Oops?"
Mrs. Miles narrowed her eyes at me, then took a deep breath, replacing that expression with a creepy smile that made her look constipated.
"So you do remember? Good!"
"How is that good?"
"Well, I noticed that you and Corey had some...ahem, issues with each other."
"What? No. We love each other!" I said sarcastically, earning a snigger from Corey.
"Well, from what I've been hearing, you love each other so much, it seems like you hate each other."
Okay, so, that might've been true in the beginning of the year... and a few years before... but now, I was okay with him. It was like my brain didn't want to remember anything bad between us, so it only gave me the good memories. Of course, the bad memories were there, and if I thought about them, they came bursting out. But, if I just thought all happy and peppy thoughts, they stayed buried deep. Verrrryyyyy deep.
"Eh?", was my smart answer. Corey sat there picking a scab on his elbow.
"Your teachers have decided for you two to try 3 months of counseling to see if it'll improve your relationship, and hopefully even your behavior." I rolled my eyes at this.
"Every Monday after school, for an hour, you two will report here." And who said that Mondays couldn't get any worse?
"You may be dismissed!" she concluded.
Walking out disgustedly, I exclaimed, "What. The. F-"
"Flippers!" Corey interrupted, twitching his neck to the left, indicating a teacher.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever! I WAS gonna say firetruck..."
"Whatever! You know what you were gonna say and it WASN'T firetruck."
"Yes it was!"
"No it wasn't!"
And on and on and on we went all the way back to class.
A/N: Whoa. Long time no update, eh? What sucks is that I know exactly how I want the story to go, and I know what's gonna happen, but I don't know HOW to make it work like it does in my head! Dx So, how's your life been? Mine kinda sucks at the moment; I woke up at 2am and started puking my guts out =0. Then, I had FCAT. Whooo... I do gotta say, I love my friends though. Although I have multiple bruises from them, they make my day better. What would this world be without friends?... Okay. I don't know how I got so off topic. Oops. So, erm. Vote, Comment, or just Read! Wait, you've already done that if you're reading this line. Oops. Um. Okay. Bye! <3
