~~~Luna's POV~~~
I woke up from a weird dream. It was about 2 titans and some soldiers and scouts gathered around it as it caused a commotion. It was a very unusual dream so I decided to shrug it off. It was still a little dark, the sun was just about to shine. I decided to go to the kitchen to brew my usual green tea.
I recognized the woman's voice inside the dining room. Looks like she's still going on about her experiments. Poor Eren, he looks so done and sleepy. I decided to interrupt them as soon as I finish brewing my tea.
"Hey Hange? Do you have more ointment for my wound? I ran out of it." I cut in their conversation. Well, more like lecture. Luckily, Hange diverted her attention to my question.
"Yeah, do you need it now? I've got some in my lab." She replies.
I smiled at her, "If it's not much trouble, can I have some please? I'll be taking a shower in a bit and I want to change my gauze too." I respond.
"Sure! No problem. Let me just get it, I'll give you extra gauze too." She said as she left the room.
I turned to face Eren who was looking exhausted. "Hey kid, why don't you go and get some sleep. I'll just tell Hange I sent you to bed."
Eren looked at me with his wide smile, "Thank you, Luna!" He says as he bows constantly to me, thanking me constantly. I waved my hand, gesturing him to go which he followed. He waved back at me as a good bye before he completely disappeared from the room.
The door opened and I spoke without looking at it, "Well that was fast, you didn't have to hurry, Hange."
"Trust me, she's still rummaging in her messy lab because she can't remember where she put your ointment." I looked back at that raspy voice and found Levi pouring himself a tea on his cup. "Did you really need the ointment or did you just say that to distract her from that brat?"
I sat on the chair and faced his walking figure towards me. "A little bit of both." I reply as he sat in front of me, holding his cup on the rim. We both sipped on our own cups, keeping our gaze at each other's eyes. I suddenly remembered Hange's words last night and I think he did too because he looked away, clearing his throat.
We sat there quietly in the awkward but comforting silence, admiring the view of the painted sky with pale colors through the windows. He was about to say something when Hange barged into the room. "Found it! Sorry, I had to recall where I put it but here it is." She stopped when she noticed that I wasn't alone. "Oh, an early tea session from the new couple?" She said, smirking at us as she wiggled her eyebrows. Levi just "Tch" at her before leaving me with Hange.
"Hormones." I whisper at Hange as soon as she stops in front of me, scrunching my nose at her. We both laughed. "By the way, thanks for this. You should get some rest too. You've been up all night." I say as I pat her arms gently.
Luckily for me, she didn't pull me into one of her lectures about the titans and just decided to go to her lab or probably chamber. I went back to my room and decided to take a shower. Erwin asked me to meet him in his office at 8 in the morning to discuss our new plans for their Underground operation. I took my time since I'm also struggling to move swiftly due to the pain from my wound.
I got ready just before our call time. I made my way to Erwin's office just along the same corridor. I knocked five times, creating a rhythm with my knocks. Erwin replied with a "Come in" immediately. He probably isn't expecting anyone else this morning. I opened the door and soon noticed that he wasn't alone. I ignored the short frame of gloom on a sunny day.
"Hey, eyebrows!" I greeted Erwin as I walked towards the chair near his table.
"Oi. Show some respect, brat." The grumpy man frowned at how I addressed his superior but this only made me want to tease his patience.
