CHAPTER 13

~~~Third Person POV~~~

Another day has passed and Luna and Philip have become closer effortlessly. The special ops squad came to see Luna as soon as they heard that she was awake. Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Sasha, Connie, Jean, Christa, Ymir and some other cadets paid her a visit too. Some brought her books, some brought fruits, and some came to bring freshly picked flowers. Although, it was mostly Jean, Connie, and Sasha who gave her flowers.

"I'm recovering, not dead." Luna jokingly said to the three cadets.

Connie scratches the back of his head, feeling quite embarrassed. "It was Jean's idea!" Sasha and Connie said in unison making the three of them laugh while Jean blushes from their revelation.

"I just thought you'd want some flowers in your ward. Give it some color, maybe. Pretty lady deserves a pretty room, right?" Jean says sheepishly.

Luna let out a chuckle as she found it cute. "I love it. Thank you." Luna replies, smiling sweetly at the three cadets.

"See! I told you he blushes harder when he makes Luna smile!" Sasha exclaims, more directly to Connie. Hearing that made Connie peek at Jean's face who's now as red as a tomato.

The two teases Jean until the door opened, revealing Philip with his usual scrupulously neat look. Fortunately for Jean, the two stopped as they got distracted by the opening door. He took the opportunity to get out of the embarrassment by pulling the two by their uniforms.

"We'll let you rest now." Jean says as he drags the two out of the room.

"SEE YOU LATER, LUNA!" Connie yells.

"GET WELL SOON, BIG SIS!" Sasha did too.

Luna let out a chuckle as she stands up from her bed, holding the flowers they gave her. Philip watched her arrange the newly brought flowers in the vase that's already almost full.

"I see you got more flowers." Philip utters as he sets down the things he'll use for Luna's wounds and the syringe along with the vaccine. "A little bit more and your ward will turn into a flower shop."

"I told you, you need flowers around the infirmary. See? Even the cadets thought so. Not only it brings life to this place, but plants also naturally filter the air of harmful chemicals and other toxins. It also gives a positive effect on mood and emotions, and boosts a sense of comfort."

"Well thank you for that wonderful lesson, our earth fairy. Now, if you could please lay down so I can clean your wound and treat you." Philip says, playfully extending his arms towards the bed like a palace servant ushering their masters.

The woman laughs at his silly actions and he immediately joined in. He gave her a shot of the vaccine and carefully cleaned her wound.

"There, nice and clean. I'll be checking the other patients so if you need me, you can ask my assistant. And by the way, Commander Erwin mentioned a meeting later when Section Commander Hange and Corporal Levi comes back from their experiment with Eren. But for now, I presume you'll stay put and not do anything too active?" Philip utters as he gathers all disposable and walks over the door.

The woman smiled cheekily at the green eyed doctor and he knew immediately, "No promises." She says which earned a chuckle from him before leaving the room.

A few minutes later, Luna's already feeling bored. Despite the books she received from the cadets, she wanted something more... productive. She decided to leave her ward to get her notepad in her room inside the hq.
