~~~Third Person POV~~~
The next day, Erwin lets the scouts have the entire day to do whatever they want.
Luna, being her usual ebullient self, pops her head around the Corporal's door to greet him with her version of a 'good morning' as she swings it open. "What chu doin'?"
The busy captain snapped his gaze from the papers to look over the door of his office. He found it cute how she clings onto the doorframe as she hangs her upper body like a child. A smile surely escaped his usually frowning face due to the paperwork but luckily for him the woman was too busy scanning his table.
"Come on. You're seriously doing paperwork on a day off? You're so weird." Luna utters as she stands up properly and walks inside his office.
"I believe the right word is 'responsible', not weird." Levi answers.
"Nah, I'm pretty sure it's 'boring'." She counters as she slumps on his couch. "Ooh, you have a really cozy couch."
"What do you want?" He asks, but unlike his usual hostile tone, it was somewhat calmer.
"I want you to go out there! Enjoy! Have fun on your day off. Relax. Could be in a tea shop or the cleaning supply store. Instead of drowning yourself in those paperwork. Honestly, anywhere but here."
"If you stop nagging me and start helping me then maybe I'd consider."
"I wasn't nagging you. I was simply laying out suggestions on how you could spend your day off properly."
With her words, the corporal thought of a way to spend his day... with her. "Do you have plans today?" He asks.
"Not sure, why?" She answers, quite curious as to why Levi asked her.
"Come with me to town." He commands. If it's any other girl, they would probably faint in an instant after hearing the Corporal's request. But knowing Luna, she definitely saw an opportunity to tease him.
She sat up straight on the couch, smirking at the busy man in front of her. She tilted her head to the left as she squinted her eyes slightly. "Are you asking me out on a date?"
Knowing she's only playing around as it is also obvious in her tone, he replied. "Stop with your daydreaming. I just need someone to come with me so I can get a discount on that cleaning supply shop." He says as he places a flyer on his table, his gaze is still fixed on the paperwork.
Although she already knew what he was talking about, she stood up to read the flyer. "You do know it's only for couples, right? And not just simple couples. Newly married couples."
"I know. I can read. That's why you're going to pretend to be my wife. Or at least my fiance, maybe they'll take that into consideration." He replies, without taking his eyes off his work as he scribbles his reports on the paper.
If he'd be completely honest, he's just using this as an excuse to spend time with her and visit the town together. He didn't really need the discount, nor the cleaning supplies. He's still got tons of it and he can definitely afford even the most expensive ones. But since he'd get the chance to act as her husband, he's taking it head first.
Luna on the other hand, has come up with one of her cheeky plans. "I guess the prettiest couple is visiting the town today. Meet me at the entrance of the market by 3." She says as she walks towards the door.
"We're not going together?" He asks as he finally look away from the reports, raising an eyebrow at Luna.
"Your wife happens to be a pretend nurse for today too. So no. You're a big boy, my love. Surely you can walk yourself to the market." She replies as she walks out of his office, closing the door behind her.
