Phil's POV

It was the day after I proposed to Ellie, and I had another surprise for her. In fact, I was sure that she would say the fateful 'Yes' to me, so I had already prepared a house for us, all that was missing was the moving of the main things. So as soon as I got up, I got ready to be ready to go out, while Ellie was still asleep. I looked at her for a few minutes, so sweet and beautiful even when she was asleep, I was sure I would never regret asking her to marry me because she was the only one I really loved. After a while she woke up, but not seeing me in the bed next to her she got up worriedly looking for me around the room, then she noticed that I was sitting in the kitchen having coffee, so she got up and joined me in the kitchen

"Good morning" She greeted me

"Morning honey" I said to her

"Would you like some coffee?" I asked her, since I was drinking it

"No thanks, how can you drink that stuff anyway?"

"I don't know, it's good, it tastes good" I replied

"It tastes bitter, I don't think it's that good"

"Well, it's an acquired taste" I told her

"You seem like a 2.0 version of Joel, only younger"

"I'll take that as a compliment" I replied and then told her

"You better go get ready, I have a surprise for you"

"A surprise? And what is it?" She asked

"I can't tell you now, but it will be very nice"

"Okay" He said and went to get ready

Once she was ready, she came to the kitchen where I was sitting at the table thinking

"I'm ready, can you tell me now?"

"Not now, however you have to come with me, it will be beautiful" I answered her

"Okay, keep your secrets" She replied and we left the house

I took her on horseback, to a property outside of Jackson, but still close by

"Where are we?" She asked as she got off the horse

"If you must know" I looked her in the face

"We are in our new home!"

She was stunned, so excited she couldn't speak

"How does that sound?" I asked her

"Well, it's beautiful! Can we go inside?" She replied

I then opened the door and told her

"Please, after you"

We went inside and it was a much bigger house than the one we had before, it had two floors. On the ground floor there was a large living room, kitchen, bathroom and a room that could be used as a pantry. Upstairs, on the other hand, there were two bedrooms, one of which was a master bedroom, a large study for Ellie and her drawings, a bathroom, and a room for me and my piano. She saw his study and could not hold back her tears.

"How did you know I wanted a studio?" She asked with wet eyes

"Well, you were always short of space in your old desk, so I thought you could use a study just for yourself" I replied as she hugged me

We then went to what used to be my study, where I had had my piano put in, the one I had played at Ellie's birthday party

"Oh my God, that's the piano you played for me!" She said excitedly
