Oneshot #4
A/n This is when Glenn and Abraham die. Also I like making Negan kinda soft because it's funny cause he's not like that at all in the show. So he's a little soft in this (only towards the reader)
Y/n's POV
My "husband" was beating this poor man's head in and all I could do was stand and watch like everyone else. The screams with haunt me for the rest of my life and I won't be able to get the image out of my head for a long time. Negan (said husband) was finally done beating him but it didn't matter cause there wasn't anything left. Then this guy with black hair charged Negan and punched him.
"Oh no, no, no!" Negan said in an angry tone
"We don't tolerate that" he said looking the man straight in eyes
(He says a lot more stuff here but I'm lazy and don't wanna write alllllllllll that)
After a while of him talking to that man he stopped in front of this Asian guy, back facing him. I knew what he was about to do and was about to say something but I was too late. He smashed his bat into another mans head. The screams started again.
"NEGAN!" I yelled half in shock
He stopped and looked at me
"Yes doll?" He asked as if nothing was wrong
"WHY DID YOU JUST DO THAT?!" I asked less angry more in disbelief that he actually did it
He walked over to me and looked me straight in the eyes
"These people killed dozens of our people. They deserve to suffer for that" he said
"That guy didn't do anything. He wasn't the one that punched you" I said
"I have a worse punishment for him" he said
"Negan..." I said looking down
"Doll listen to me, ok?" He asks softly
I nod my head still looking down
"These people are a threat. I have to make them less of a threat or it won't end well, you know that." He says
"Yea... I know" I say no looking up
"Look at me... please" he says softly
I slowly look at him and he smiles. I give him a sad smile back
"Do you at least understand?" He asks
"Yes" I say
"Ok, good" he says
He turns back around
"But I can't leave him like this, now can I" he says raising his voice so everyone can hear him
"Nope" someone from our group says
I turn around not wanting to see this again. I hear him continuously hitting the poor man again, probably til there was nothing left. A tear goes down my face. The squishing sound finally stops and all I can hear are the sounds of crying coming from the asian guys group.
'I'm sorry' I mouth to the corpses of the two dead guys
I see Negan pull someone from the other group into an rv and drive away.
~time skip
It had been awhile since Negan had taken a guy from the other group when I hear the sound of a car approach. I look over and see the rv Negan had drove off in. Negan and that other guy walk out of the rv and Negan drags the guy back into the line of people. He gives them another speech then starts talking directly to this young boy. He makes him get up and walk to where Negan was standing before. He makes him lay on the ground then he gets the guy that he had taken with him in the rv and places him by the boy.
"Does anyone have a pen" he asks our group
"I do" someone says and tosses it over to Negan
Negan draws a line on the boys arm
"Rick, pick up the axe" Negan says sternly
Rick starts to cry even harder
"I'm gonna tell you one more time. Pick. Up. The. Axe." He says even more sternly
"We can work this out-" he says but is cut off by Negan
"No. We can't. Now pick up the axe" he says still very stern
"NOW" he yells
Rick picks up the axe
"Now cut the boys arm off" he says
I have a look of anger on my face
"1" Negan says
"2" he says
Rick starts yelling
"NO!" I say running up to Rick and yanking the axe from his hands
Rick falls on the floor crying
"I won't let you make him do something like that" I say looking Negan straight in the face
"I wasn't actually gonna make him do it" he says chuckling
"Really? Cause it looked like you were" I say anger in my voice
"Trust me doll, I wasn't gonna make him do it" he says walking up to me
He takes the axe from my hand and tosses it on the ground. I look past Negan and see rick and the boy crying. A look of sadness fills my eyes.
"I'm sorry you feel sorry for them but you have to understand that they need to know who's in charge" he says
"You could've done it in a nicer way" I say looking back at him
"No I couldn't of" he says
"Why?" I ask
"Because even if I didn't care about showing them who's in charge they still killed a lot of my men" he says
"...I understand I just don't agree with the way you did it" I say
"You're too nice, that'll get you killed in a world like this" he says
"Maybe. Or it'll help me" I say
"People kill people like you now, or they do worse things because they think you can't handle yourself and are useless. But I know you aren't. I know you can handle yourself. You just need to be able to kill someone when you need to" he says
"Yea... I guess your right" I say looking down
"I'm sorry you had to see all this" he says hugging you
"It's ok... just don't bring me along for something like this again, please" I say
"I won't. I promise" he says
