"Uki, are you there?"

Fulgur's soft voice could be heard from the opposite side of the door. Uki opened the door just a crack so his face could be seen.

"Sorry fufu-chan, I'm not dressed yet, give me a sec."

He closed the door and rushed to his closet trying to find something simple to wear.

He settled on a simple, yet beautiful outfit and opened back the door to see Fulgur, holding something small in his hand. He holds out the small thing to Uki.

It was a small box tied with a tiny ribbon. Uki takes the box and carefully unravels the ribbon to reveal two rings. One with a sun, and one with a moon.

"I want you to take the sun ring, so you always have something to remind you of me. Even when I'm not there."

Fulgur said putting the sun ring on Uki's finger.

"Fufu-chan..."

Uki said under his breath.

"Come on, I'm ready to see Nijisanji city in its beauty."

   It had been pretty Sunny lately, so lots of people were outside enjoying the sunshine. Since it was crowded, Uki tightly held onto Fulgur's hand, scared of losing him. They first went to Petra's bookstore, which was one of Uki's go-to spots. It had a calming feeling to it.

Opening the door, Uki called out to Petra. Her long black and orange hair was tied up in a messy bun. She turned from the bookshelf she was sorting.

"Uki! Great to see you again!"

"Hey Petra! I have someone with me..."

Her head tilted, trying to look behind Uki.

"Who?"

Fulgur poked his head out from behind Uki. A smile grew on his face.

"Long time no see Petra."

Petra's face lit up with a smile. She rushed to give Fulgur a tight hug.

"Fu-chan! It's been too long!"

She eventually let go of him.

"How have you been? I hope you weren't lonely being away from the city."

Fulgur chuckled.

"No, it wasn't lonely, but difficult."

Petra shot Uki a glance of concern as she gave Fulgur another hug.

"I would love to spend the day with you guys, but I have work to do."

Uki chuckled.

"That's okay Petra, we understand. Come on Fufu-chan, there are other places I want to take you."

Uki took hold of Fulgur's hand as they exited Petra's bookstore, leaving her alone with her thoughts.

The two navigated through the busy streets of the city, which was a difficult task. It took Uki sometime before he realized he was outside, and not undercover. He stopped walking and turned to Fulgur, burying his face into the other's shirt.

"Uki? What's the matter?"

"I can't be out like this! What if the paparazzi see me? What if my fans start recognizing me? What if—"

Uki cut his sentence short as Fulgur tightened the grip on his hand.

"Uki, this is OUR day, don't let them ruin it. If they do recognize you, then we ignore them. I'm here for YOU, not them."

Uki sighed and gave Fulgur a reassuring smile. Fulgur was right, today was about them, not the paparazzi or his fans. And he was going to make sure that the day was perfect.

The next stop was the boba shop, that Uk Ian's Fulgur would go to as teenagers when school ended. The place although old, still felt and looked like it had just opened up.

"I haven't been here in...wow."

"Heh, brings back memories huh?"

Uki chuckled. The worker in the store called out to them.

"You two lovebirds gonna order something or what?"

Uki could feel his face heat up quickly, he looked over at Fulgur, who to Uki's surprise, looked slightly amused at the comment.

"Yes, I think we're ready now."

        They decided next to go to the park and relax for a bit. Although the day wasn't perfect, Uki had fun, and so did Fulgur. That's all Uki really wanted.

"Uki? I know you've done so much for me already, but I have one TINY favour to ask."

"Hm? What is it?"

Uki attempted to read Fulgur's face, but it was no use.

"Well...my friends from my vtuber company invited me to a party, and I don't want to go alone, so...do you mind going with me?"

"Like, a formal party?"

"Sort of. I don't know if you can call my friends 'formal'."

Uki chuckled. At least he knew that they weren't going to be scary.

"When is it?"

"Well......."

"WHAT?"
