The morning after the party, Uki didn't want to get out of bed, he was afraid to face the music. Uki, didn't know why he did what he did, it was as if he couldn't even look at Fulgur anymore. And nothing was worse than that. But alas, he somehow convinced himself to get up and start his morning.

Ukinya was already awake and awaiting their food in their bowl. So, while he waited for the kettle, Uki fed Ukinya and did some work. Lately, he had been so distracted with his personal life that he hasn't focused on his career much. But now was the perfect time to do so.

Once the kettle had finished, Uki got himself a cup of coffee and continued his work. Maybe it wasn't the thing he wanted to be doing, but anything that kept his mind off of Fulgur was good.

As he was working, Uki got a message from his group chat with Enna, Shoto, and Petra.

{FOUR TOXIC BITCHES}

Shoto: Hey Uki! Come join us at the new boba shop that just opened!

Petra: I just want to clarify, I was forced to come.

Enna: Don't act like you aren't chugging three bobas at once Petra 🙄

Uki: Okay, I'll come, I need to tell you guys about the party anyways.

Shoto: Did something bad happen?

Uki: Just—I'll tell you when I get there.

Uki chugged down the rest of his coffee before changing into something simple and comfy. He thought of bringing Ukinya, but after more consideration, it probably would've been a disaster. So, still nervous, Uki walked out of his apartment to meet with his friends.

Uki arrived and ordered a ube milk tea. Petra, Enna, and Shoto had already drank their boba so they just chatted instead.

"So Uki, you said you wanted to tell us what happened at the party?" Petra asked. Uki sighed, knowing that he would have to tell them eventually.

"Okay, as you guys know, I went to a party with Fufu-chan. At first, it was pretty fun. I got to meet his friends, his colleagues, I even got to have a lot of shots."

"So then, what's wrong?" Shoto asked.

"Well, he asked me to dance with him, and I said yes. And....I kissed him."

"YOU WHAT?!?" Enna yelled out, causing the other people in the cafe to give them weird looks.

"Did he kiss you back?"

"Yeah, and now I feel bad...like I crossed a line I wasn't supposed to." Uki sighed before finishing his milk tea.

Uki had always known that him and Fulgur had a special bond, but he never meant for it to be romantic. Maybe he had a crush on Fu-chan, maybe Fu-chan had a crush on him, but it wasn't as if he could act on feelings. Not now at least.

"Well, he did kiss you back, so you're not the only one who crossed a line." Shoto pointed out.

"He's right, don't beat yourself up about it." Petra said, comforting Uki.

"Thanks guys, I think I might go a little early, thanks for inviting me."

And with that, Uki exited the cafe. Leaving his friends with slight worry. After taking one deep breath, he opened his phone and texted Fulgur.

                 {Fufu-chan~}

Uki: Hey Fufu-chan, sorry about last night. If you want, I would love to meet up and talk about it. The truth is, I've liked you for a long time. It's kind of embarrassing to tell you this over text, but I don't have the confidence to tell you in real life. I'm not asking you to reciprocate my feelings, but if you would like to meet up, please text me back soon.

Uki let out a short sigh before closing his phone and walking home.

Ukinya was waiting for him at the door like usual. Uki kneeled down and patted his head.

"At least I can always count on you."

He took of his shoes and went to his room, where he went on his laptop to finish the work he started earlier in the morning.

Suddenly, Uki got a text from the least expected person, Enna. He quickly opened the notification which Led him to their messages.

                    {Biatch #1}

Enna: Uki! You need to go to Fulgur's channel and click on his latest video, now!

Uki: Why?

Enna: Just do it!

Uki: Okay okay, jeez

      Confused, Uki opened a new tab on his laptop and typed in Fulgur Ovid. Clicking on the latest video he turned up the volume and listened.

"Hey, Chat? Can I let you in on a little secret of mine?"

"There's this person in my life, who has been through a lot with me, and I mean a LOT. Yet despite that, he has always seen the good in me."

"Even if he doesn't know it, I can't deny that I've been hiding feelings for a while. And it's high time I confess. So Uki, if you're watching, just know that I love you. And thank you. For everything."

Uki shut off the video before he heard anything more. His face was full of complete and utter shock. Did he just hear what he think he did?

We are nearing the end of this story! It saddens me to say that, considering how much I adore this series. Maybe I could do a book two for it or something? What do you guys think?
