Ang unang liham ni Alejandro kay Virginia.
Dear Virginia,
First of all, ang hirap mag-tagalog. I can't imagine myself speaking in fluent Filipino. I really hate our Filipino subject when I was in high school, our teacher once tasked us to write a poem about our Philippine Heroes, and I wasn't able to write anything on my paper, because I was too dumb. So, bakit nga ang ganda mo? No joke, you're really beautiful, kakaiba 'yong ganda mo, hindi kagaya ng mga babaeng mula sa panahon namin, your actions, your way of speaking and everything you do, it gives me chills, you're so fucking gorgeous in every ways. “Sa hindi inaasahan, ika'y aking natagpuan, hindi ko mawari kung ang pananatili ko rito'y hanggang kailan, ngunit ako'y umaasa na ang lahat sa atin ay wala ng hangganan.” Okay na ba 'yan? Do I sounded smart? Or parang tanga lang? Argggghhh! I think, this is no longer a letter, more like a diary. God! nagsusulat ba ng Diary ang isang lalaki? Parang hindi naman, this is so weird, nasisira ang pagkalalaki ko. But, it's okay, lang, ikaw din naman sumisira. I needed to end this letter, for I might turn this into a whole laughing stock.
Love,
Alejandro

The first letter of Andrew to Vera
Dear Vera,
I heard that you're the assigned sportswriter of our Academy to feature me next week, for I was the MVP of the winning team. Finally, I'll have the chance to steal a stare of your pretty eyes at least. You bewitched me, with your dazzling, hazel, eyes, your cupid bow's lips, your rosy cheeks, indeed, your beauty is irresistible. Vera, I started admiring you since grade seven. I'll be braver this time around, and I hope, you'll give me a chance.
Love,
Andrew
