McKennas POV

Leo and I were now in my dads room sitting on the couch, watching as my dad paced back and forth. He decided it give us more freedom to talk on the matter.

"We need someone to fill in and take Romeos role, he's the star of the film for crying out loud" I watched my father tap his chin

"To be fair, I think Paul didn't quite fit the part..." Leo blankly said

"Nows not the time dicaprio" I frowned at him

"We need someone young someone..." my dad said thoughtfully

"Jesse! You know Jesse Bradford" I suggested in hope that my dad would agree. It would be ideal, we were a ball of chemistry, especially the last few days.

"No... I think he's better off being Balthasar" my dad softly said in thought. Only Leo and I didn't hear

"Pfft please" Leo scoffed talking over my dad. Him making a disgusted face

"Why the hell not, Jesse has the charms of Romeo I think he'll do great thankyou very much" I spat. My dad stopped all of a sudden

"Yeah just because he's your little boyfriend" he retaliated frowning. I turned to face him

"He's not my boyfriend" I said through gritted teeth.

"Wait" my dad sighed as if he had an idea but of course Leo and I were to busy in a heated conversation to realise

"Why do you even care Leo? Are you jealous? Is that what it is your jealous of Jesse?" I said

"Maybe I ducking am" Leo mumbled softly as he plopped his chin down on his hand and glared at the blank tv

I blinked. Did I hear that correctly? I don't believe it. Thinking back at what Jesse said a couple of days ago at the beach. He did wonder if we were together.

"Is that the reason you kept cutting me and Paul off in our scene the other day? Because you couldn't stand watching us kiss" I questioned forcefully. He rested his tongue against his cheek and let out a long shakey sigh. He turned his head to look at me. His face showed frustration but his eyes were saying something else. It looked hurt

"I was just doing my fucking job" I nodded slowly as I was lost in his eyes. Both of our focus on each other then breaking as my dad came up close. Holding his thumbs and pointer fingers to create a frame and looking at us through the opening

"What are you doing dad?" I said in curiosity

"I just found my Romeo" my eyes widened and looked at Leo. No way is this happening. He dropped his hands to his sides and grinned

"You're dreaming if you think I'm gonna be his Juliet and besides he's co directing you can't possible think he can direct himself?"

"Kenna you two have great chemistry I've witnessed it before when you were practising for the scene a couple of weeks ago...what do you say Leo?" I shook my head at my dad and then looked at Leo, scratching the back of his head thoughtfully.

"Wow you can't be considering this right?" I questioned in disbelief

"Why fucking can't I?" And with he got up and stormed out slamming the door behind him

"Is there something going on between yous" my dad dumbly asked, gesturing to the now shut door and me

I screamed "I can't believe this is happening" and with that I stormed out

Leo's POV

I rushed off out of the room. I just couldn't think. I did want to take up Baz on the offer as I missed the feel of acting and let's be real me co directing a film that McKenna is starring in isn't going to work out.
