McKennas POV

I froze in my spot as I was met with des'ree. I'm not usually like this. I've met many known actors in my life. Maybe it was because she was a singer and I wanted to pursue in music

"Hello, I'm des'ree Leonardo has told me you would like to meet me"

"Yes yes I'm McKenna, you can call me Kenna. Your voice is outrageous, the song you made for this film is amazing. I just can't believe I actually get to meet you. Your work is top tier...and I'm gonna shut up now" Leo scratched the back of neck and chuckled

"No I'm honestly honoured to meet you. I can tell the film is going to turn out just great" she smiled warmly, thanking the lord that I just haven't rambled long enough to annoy her.

"Well I was telling des'ree how much of a good singer you were" I widened my eyes. He's never heard me before. How would he know if I was good singer or not.

"Yeah I sing a little here and there mainly in the shower" I giggled as I looked at the ground. Leo gave me a small nudge and smirked

"Well I'll love to hear what you've got"

"I-uh" I didn't know what to say. Of course I wanted to say yes. I had to seize the opportunity that was single handly being given to me.

"She would love to, wouldn't you Kenna"

"Yes I mean if you're not too busy and if you don't of course"

"No I would love to, obviously not today you seem to have a lot on your plate but I'm here for 2 more days if you'd like to meet up?" She wanted to meet up? She wants to meet up with me. McKenna Rae roberts. This is a huge opportunity for me. Ofcourse I couldn't find the words to speak up, Leo saving me again as he started speaking for me

"Yeah how does Tuesday sound?"

"Yes that sounds great, I'll send you my hotel location tonight, I better let you guys get back to work" all I managed to let out is an awkward laugh. Wow was I making a fool of myself. Leo and her exchanged a few words. Then she started to walk away

"I look forward to seeing you on Tuesday McKenna!" I gave a small wave. As soon as she was out of view i threw my hands on my face in disgrace

"Oh my god" Leo grabbed my hands off my face. Still seeming to hold on to them as he spoke

"You choked kenna" he said as he started laughing

"I know I can't believe that"

"Oh well atleast you get to see her again, she wants to hear what you've got" he said mocking her

"Yeh I hope I don't fuck up this time...also Leo how did you know I sing?" He tapped his nose

"I have my ways"

"No seriously" I nudged his shoulder 

All he did was shrugged. It didn't matter, I now had the plans to sing for des'ree that was enough for me. I giggled and let out a small scream and gave Leo a huge hug. Him freezing up a bit but then letting in and hugging me back

"I can't believe you got her to talk to me"

"Well I have my connections, I am the producer after all"

"Oh yeah I keep forgetting"

"I just knew you wouldn't have the courage to go talk to her yourself and besides you shouldn't limit yourself Kenna, is this something you want to do?" I nodded while still hugging him

"Ummm guys" both me and Leo turned our heads whilst still in a hug. Then letting go almost immediately when we realised it was Paul by the door

"We've been looking for you everywhere, Baz wants to get the next scene started" he said trailing off as he realised our awkward stances
