"Mommy!"

(Name) watched as her 5 year-old son wobble over to her, crutches poised against the ground and tear stained cheeks. "Aw, baby what is it?"

(Sons desired name) sniffled and wiped his eyes, sitting his crutches down and letting (Name) bring him into her lap on the sofa. "Uncle Tony made me talk to a girl!" (Name) sighed in relief, fear of it being something else as her son sniffled again.

"A-and I got scared! But, mommy, I think she was gross and Tony made me...he made me-"

"Calm down, baby, breathe, we dont want your asthma acting up okay?"

As if on cue, the little boy stopped and did the breathing exercise his mother taught him and (Name) smiled. "Now what did uncle Tony do?"

"He made me kiss her cheek!"

Steve walked in, chuckling and picked his son up, sitting down his sheild, and throwing the giggling but still upset toddler in the air. "You won't be like that when you get older, tyke."

(Sons desired name) screwed up his bunny nose and stuck his tongue out. "Bleh! I don't ever wanna be like that, girls have cooties!"

(Name) giggled and Steve sat beside her, sitting their son between them. "Does mommy have cooties?" Steve asked, making his son stare at (Name) as if she were a two headed dog. "No, she's mommy!"

You smiled at your son's antics and kissed his nose, "and never forget it."

(Sons desired name) turned his head forward and began playing with his pants, "I'll never forget mommy, or daddy!"

(Name) and Steve looked at each other lovingly, gazing at their son a moment later as he hummed a lullaby they sang to him often. The (eye colour) orbed boy turned his eyes to his parents before smiling and hooking his little arms around them. "I love you, mommy, daddy!"

Tony watched from the elevator and smiled, wishing he could have a child of his own. The arc reactor made it harder on him. But he still had (Sons desired name) and that's all that all of them needed.
