"Ghoulette of Lust" (DISCONTINUED)

Chapter 6 - Goodbyes

Omega and I were walking back to my place, talking a bit about what all of this even meant. He had told me what I should expect, and he told that I'd get help to learn how to switch into ghoul form! Apparently nobody seems to know what type of ghoul I am, since I've never really been in ghoulette form (aside from when asleep, which we discussed a while ago. However then I hadn't fully transformed!)

I was going to live in the church, serving the people living in the convent. Omega said I'd get to be with the trainees. 'Trainees? Are they ghouls in training or are they possibly sisters of sin?' I wondered. I didn't feel like asking many questions, so I just listened to the beautiful birds.

There was a few in a birch tree. They were eating bird food that it seemed like they stole from someones garden. They're black and white color scheme with that beautiful greenish-blue tail feathers always made me amazed. How could such a simple bird be so beautiful?

I was worried about how I'd tell my parents. I can't just say 'Hi mom, dad! So turns out I'm a demon from hell and I have to go with some devil worshippers I've never met before, okay bye!' I would sound crazy. I decided to ask about it.
"How will I tell my parents? Can I tell them the truth?"
"Yes, you can tell your parents. It makes them less likely to file a missing person's case. That would draw more suspicion to us."
"Makes sense I guess, but do they even have a say in it?"

Omega stared into nothing for a few seconds until he started speaking again.

"Well, they don't really have much of a say in it. You're legally their child but you're also a ghoul. We'd only be taking you so you can be protected and be given appropriate food. Also so that you won't go rouge and put people in harms way."

I felt sad for a moment. He was right, I wasn't human. I never was, was I? No. We already established this, but there's one thing we didn't.

"If I'm born in hell...Why am I here now?" I asked, hoping for a clear answer on how ghouls even come to earth.
"Well, someone was most likely trying to summon a ghoul. However if the ritual when summoning is disrupted or not done properly results may be...different. In this case you were only an infant. My guess? They summoned you during winter but were weakened and disrupted by the cold. They didn't want you so you were left there with the date of your summoning."

"Damn...My mom said she found me in a forest but I'd always guessed someone just couldn't raise a baby...Really they couldn't seem to raise a ghoul..."
"Yes, that is at least my guess on what happened." Omega replied somewhat sadly.

Well...Let's go tell my parents then..?

We kept walking out of the forest. This time I actually tried not to get any branches in our faces. As we walked out I felt the sun hit my face. It was a somewhat rare feeling nowadays. Swedish fall is always very dark. The sun must mean that it's probably noon. We tried to walk in the shade, but it wasn't a very big deal where we went, since almost nobody was out. A lot of people avoided this area since it's close to the forest.

We kept walking past the neighborhoods filled with villas. Most were white or red but there were also quite a few black and yellow ones. We walked in a calm silence.

Time went and as soon as I knew it we had reached my house. I walked towards the black door and quietly turned the handle. I walked in and took off my shoes on the small mat, Omega did the same as I started whispering.
"Should I call for them now..?"
"Yes, go ahead."
I took a deep breath and I yelled. I'm not actually allowed to yell in the house, but I didn't really care right now. This was too important.
"Mama, Papa, Ren! Can you all come to the living room please? It's important!"

I felt a but bad if I interrupted my parents in the middle of something, but I heard distant shuffling and then heard doors open.
"Okay hon! I'll be right there!" I heard my mother call back to me.
