TAYLORS POV
○◇○◇○◇○◇○

God I miss you" my voice cracks as i admit a truth I tried to ignore.

"I missed you to" she replies back in a whisper as she moves closer into me hiding her face from my view.

"Sorry" are the words that utterd from my mouth involuntarily.

I close my eyes as I tilt my head to the ceiling to stop the tears falling from guilt and sadness.

I only squeeze her harder my emotions spilling even more onto that one gesture.

I stay in this dream like state for what feels like centuries before I release my arms from around her my body screaming at me not to.

She let's out a small chuckle as she looks up to the ceiling stepping back from me wiping away tears that never fell.

My heart only pines more wanting me to take her back into my arms again.

She looks at me her face light up with a small smile.

"God you've gone sappy" she laughs at me giving me a small punch in the arm.

"Guess I have" I laugh back unconsciously holding my arm she punched.

"Hungry?" I ask her my head cocked to the side.

"I could eat" she replies back shrugging her shoulders.

HAILEE POV
♤♤♤♤♤♤

I hold my sides as I let down a laughing fit.

Taylor does the same letting off into a light laugh.

"Still cant believe lacey of all people was convinced that choclate milk comes from brown cows" taylor tells herself baffled with the sheer gullibility of the situation.

"Best believe it that's the best fun I've had in a while" I reply back with a laugh pointing my spoon towards her.

We found a small cosy dinner close to the garage set up Taylor has.

We sit across from each other in a red coloured booth furthest from the bar.

The smell of waffles coffee and bacon all linger in the air mixing with the soft sounds of the waitress moving behind the counter and the radio that plays quiet music to create a peaceful atmosphere.

The place is empty with the exception of a few people that pop in and out for a quick takeaway.

Taylor takes a sip from her coffee her eyes dropping from me for a moment.

I look over Taylor once again taking in her new appearance.

"What you thinking" she asks me looking into my eyes with soft curiosity as she puts her cup down.

"How many tattoos have you got" I ask back my eyes gesturing to one of her tattoos that peeks out from under her hoodie cuff.

" well currently I have I think its 13 in total scattered on both arms I have this one on behind my ear that goes to my neck it says quarter mile other than that that's all I have" she tells me rolling up her sleeves to show the tattoos as she explains them.

"Any got a deeper meaning for you" I ask curious as I glance up at her.

"Most have a deep meaning like the one on my neck that's for dad with his words of wisdom" she laughs her hand wrapping around the tattooed side of her neck.

"I got mums favourite flower here on this wrist" she shows me her right wrist.

I reach out to pull her wrist closer to look at.

"Snowdrops cute" I smile back letting go of her wrist.

she smiles back at me her eyes scanning the room.

"Ready to go?" She ask happily.

I take my spoon and scoop out the last of my icecream.

"Now I am" I smile at her.

She stands from the booth and turns to me her hand stretched out.

I put my hand in hers she pulls me up from the seat making me lose my balance and smack into her.

"Sorry" I laugh looking up at her.

She gives me a smile her eyes light up with a hidden emotion.

I step back letting go of her hand so that I can melt without her knowing.

She looks down at my hand  and back up to me with a frown as she reaches out  grabbing my hand in hers again.

Butterflies explode in my stomach and threaten to regurgitate my icecream.

She guides us both to the bar where the small old waitress stand cleaning the sides.

"I'd like to pay table 6 " she politely says to the lady leaning on the bar infront of her.

"Course pumpkin give me a second" the lady smiles shuffling  over to the register.

I let go off Taylor's hand taking my purse out my jacket pocket to retrive 15 dollars.

"Heres my cut off the bill" I hold the money out to Taylor expecting her to take it.

She turns to me and deadpans looking from the money to me.

"Keep it" she tells me nonchalantly.

"No it's only manners I pay to" I huff back getting annoyed shes not letting me pay.

That's when the little old lady returns with the bill.

Taylor takes it from her hands with a smile looking over it before reaching into her back pocket to take money out her purse.

"Taylor...." I warn her my tone telling her not to.

She only glances at me her sly smile growing by the second.

Before I could protest she hands the waitress 30$ smiling at the lady.

I scoff letting Taylor know I'm mad.

"You have a good night now"the lady tells us in a sing song voice before turning away.

"Like I said keep it" she tells me her face grinning like a Cheshire cat.

"Your an ass" I tell her once we sit in the car after electing to give her glares as we made our way over.

She only laughs at me as she  take  off her hoodie and launches it in the back of my car.

I take a small peek at her again once again drooling with what I see.

That's when i spot a tatto of a sunshine on the inner of her bicep.

I decide not to say anything scared of being dissatisfied with not recovering the answer I want.

She must have noticed me staring as her eyebrow knit toghther.

"You okay look I'm sorry for paying I didnt know it would piss you off that much" she rambles apologetically to me

I only laugh at her shaking my head.

"Im not mad honestly its linda nice to not have to pay once in a while" I tell her laughing again.

She looks at me her smile going right through me.
