Walking into Miyagi-Do to train was like a breath of fresh air for Halley, she was missing the place and now she got to train there whenever she wanted to. But she walked in on a heavy tension between Robby and Sam, thankfully Daniel walked in right after her

"Hey, guys. All right, perfect attendance on day one"

"So, what's our first lesson?" Sam asked

"You'll see. Follow me" The three teens walked behind the older man. Daniel grabbed a bag with sand and created a circle on the floor with it

"If we're gonna play in the sand can't we just go to the beach?" Sam looked confused

"No, not today" He looked at the three "It's been a long time since this dojo had more than two students. And you figure with three people, you have thrice the defense, right?" the three of them nodded unsure "Wrong. One of the cornerstones of Miyagi-do Karate is always moving in a circle. And with the wheel technique, you'll soon see that three people can be as strong as 20. Now, are you ready?"

"I always am"

"Yes, Mr. LaRusso"

"Let's do this" the three of them said with a smile. They started with the exercise in pairs, so they could learn how to maintain coordination with one person at a time, Robby and Sam started but every time they moved from their places to do the wheel they lost coordination. Then they switch, now it was Sam and Halley's turn, which ended up looking just as bad

"No. No, no, no" the two girls stopped "You both have to be perfectly in sync. Or this technique doesn't work"

"Technique?" Robby asked from besides him "This feels more like a dance"

"Yeah, at what point do we do the hokey pokey and turn ourselves around"

"It's gonna be impossible if we can't see each other" Halley said

"Okay, guys, trust me. You three master this, no one's gonna mess with you. Come on, let's try it again" they sighed "Sam come here, Robby get in there" the stood facing each other "Aits'' and with the signal, they started once again the choreography, but again they were okay until they started to do the wheel "No, no, together. At the same time" they stopped

"Halley's right. How are we supposed to do it at the same time when we can't see each other?" Robby said

"You need to sense what your partner is doing even if you can't see them" Daniel explained and the three teens looked at each other confused

"How exactly are we supposed to do that? The Force?" Sam asked. But before Daniel could say something else he got a message

"Shoot. I gotta go help your mom out with something. Just...feel it, all right?. I'll be back as soon as I can. All right, keep it up" and he left

"Just feel it" Halley mumbled "Great advice" she said sarcastically and they went back to practicing. And failed miserably every single time, they switched partners and did everything to try and get it right one time, but was useless "If I do this one more time I'm gonna puke" the other two agreed, they were tired and it was late, Daniel never came back so they decided to just go home

The next morning it was the same thing, Halley arrived at the dojo and there was the same tension with Sam and Robby, she looked at Sam questioningly and she just shrugged. If she was gonna walk in every morning to them being in a bad mood she might as well not come at all.

This time instead of making a circle in the ground with sand Daniel was in the back taking the bonsai trees out of the pond

"Dad? Dad, What are you doing?" Sam asked as they walked in

"Mr. Miyagi built this a few years before he died. He said it was a monument to balance. But today, it's not gonna balance the bonsai. It's gonna help you three learn the wheel technique. Two of you, hop in" the teenagers looked at him in disbelieve

"You actually want us to go in there?" Sam asked

"Like, seriously?" Halley really didn't feel like getting wet that day

"Yeah" he just simply said, and the three looked at each other

"Could have told us to bring our swimsuits" Robby shrugged

"Come on. A little water never hurt anyone"

"Tell that to the people in the titanic" Daniel glared at Halley playfully. Robby and Sam took their shoes off and went in the pond

"If we can't do it on the ground, how are we supposed to do it in that?" Robby asked

"On the ground, it's hard to sense when your partner is moving. On that deck, trust me, you're gonna feel it right away" they struggled to only get on the deck, and that's when Halley knew they were in for a long day. Halley was amused watching Sam and Robby fall repeatedly, but when it was her turn it was not so funny anymore.

It was a day full of trial and error, and a lot of falling. They were shaking and every single part of their bodies and clothing was wet, but after a while they were finally getting somewhere. Now they could stop themselves before falling and could feel each other better and by the end of training they all could do it perfectly no matter who they did it with

Eli had appeared at Halley's doorstep covered in cement and she didn't know what to think about it when he told her the reason because who in their right minds would put kids inside a cement mixer. She shut her mouth for the sake of peace and just allowed him to take a shower in her bathroom.

When he came out of the bathroom Halley felt like passing out, she liked the mohawk but Eli with his hair down was another level of attractiveness

"What are you looking at?" he asked drying his hair with a towel

"You" she said feeling the boldest she's ever feel

"What? Enjoying the view?" something to point out was that he was shirtless

"That's an understatement" he walked to her and laid on top of her, his hands at both sides of her head

"Where are your parents?" he asked in a low voice

"Out. It's their date night" they both knew that meant they weren't coming home soon

"Great" he matched her smirk and leaned down to kiss her
