Halley was so happy to still not be cleared for physical activity yet because that meant she didn't have to go to PE, she always hated that class. So she wandered the halls of the school for a while before getting bored and decided to go out to the soccer field where she knew the PE class was being teached. She arrived just in time to see Sam kicking one of the Cobra Kai and the coach sending all of them to the principal's office

"Jesus Christ" Halley sighed and walked towards Moon

"Hey! I was wondering where you were" Moon and as always greeted her with enthusiasm

"I'm still not cleared for physical activity and I think that" the brunette pointed to where the match had been "Was pretty physical" Moon winced sympathetically

"I wish we could all just get along," she frowned. And Halley wished something similar, like, she didn't want to be friends with everyone but she just wanted peace and everyone at least tolerating each other

Sam was fuming that afternoon when Halley went to her house, she was walking back and forth and she was a cartoon she would be blowing smoke out of her ears

"Ughh" she groaned one more time "It's so unfair" she raised her arms in the air "She just let them go like that and we are the ones who have detention" her voice was raised and Halley was sure the neighbors could hear her complaints "I despise them so much" she continued as she had been the last 20 minutes "And where even were you?" she finally addressed Halley

"Somewhere else" Halley shrugged "Thank god" she murmured

"Why are you acting as if you don't care about what happened?!" Sam said exasperated and Halley was fed up with it because if there was someone who cared was her, she just didn't have the energy do to anything about it

"I do care!" she stood up in front of Sam "I'm probably the one who cares the most! But Sam I'm not looking to get my ass beaten again, you know?" she raised her voice "I'm so fed up with them that if given the chance I would make them all disappear from our lives but I'm so over getting thrown against walls that I just want no part on this"

"But if we don't stop them then they'll keep doing what they want" Halley rolled her eyes, they had this conversation several times before and it was always the same thing said with different words and Halley had no idea how to make Sam understand that she didn't feel like provoking a group of aggressive teenagers lead by a psychopath

"You know what? You're right, they'll continue if someone doesn't stop them but I don't want to risk getting killed in the crossfire! Did you see what happened to Miguel? He almost died and now there's a possibility he won't walk again, I don't know about you but I value my physical abilities too much for this crap" she sat back down and grabbed her phone, she assumed the conversation was over as that's how it usually ended but her attention was ripped away from her phone when Sam sat besides her facing her

"I know you're scared" Sam nodded "But I don't know if we can do this without you" she took a softer approach this time "You are one of the best fighters in the dojo, and as much as I like the others, we both know mostly they're not ready to face a Cobra Kai one in one" Halley knew that was true, they were getting better but now that they were not training if a Cobra Kai came at them they would get their asses handed to them. Halley just sighed and decided to keep her mouth shut, Sam giving up a few seconds later and also going on her phone

'We need you, please'

Halley stared and Sam's text, her mind was split in half. According to Sam's previous texts a group of Cobra Kai had been messing with Chris while he was at work and now Sam wanted to go and fight with them. Halley knew for a fact that with or without her, her cousin was gonna do it and she was not only thinking about her but also her friends, Nathaniel, Chris, and Demetri were also gonna be there and she knew that if she didn't go and help them and something went wrong she would never forgive herself.

She had already made a decision in her mind but it seemed as if her body was fighting against it, she couldn't find it in herself to get up from her bed and when she tried to move all of the spots where Erick and Angela hit her suddenly started to hurt again even though they stopped hurting a while ago, her breathing became uneven as she forced her body to move. Finally and against her better judgment she took her body out of her room and then into her car.

All the way to the arcade there was a sour taste in her mouth as she mentally prepared herself to go into what felt like a war zone, a voice in the back of her brain was telling her to turn the other way and go burry herself in her blankets all night but she kept pushing against it

"I'm so gonna regret this" she whispered to herself as she stared at the arcade from inside her car

Hello, hello

Halley: Can I live? Can I live? CAN I FUCKING LIVE?

Poor thing, it's always one thing after the other here. Also Sam's mad at the world right now, and she's specially mad at Cobra Kai so trying to talk Halley into helping them fight the Cobras feels like something she would do in the actual show
