After both LaRussos visited Miguel they both wanted to help him out, he told Sam about the very expensive surgery that he needed for a better chance at walking again

"There's gotta be a way to help him out" Sam paced back and forth, they had been trying to think of something

"Car wash!" Halley sat up from her bed and Sam's eyes widened and nodded her head

"That's a great idea, now we just need people on it"

"Easy, the miyagi-do's and I'm sure Moon would love to help and she's got a lot of friends"

"Ohh, this is gonna be great" Sam jumped, and the two of them got to work, they needed to tell everyone that wanted to help

♢♢♢

"Why aren't you in a bikini?" Sam walked behind Halley as they were looking around the car wash

"Because I still look like I've been ran over by a truck" Halley said and Sam winced

"Fair enough" she nodded. Halley and Sam put their hands to work and started helping around with the cars because as they day went on it seemed like it was more and more full, they knew all was worth it because by the looks of it they were gonna collect a lot of money for Miiguel

♢♢♢

Halley and Sam were at Sam's house. Halley didn't feel like going home, her parents had been getting on her last nerve, maybe it was because she wasn't used to being around them so much but they had been following her around the house and looking at her with pity, she hated it so she'd rather just get out of the house. The doorbell ringed and Sam went to open the door

"Halley!" Sam called and the brunette could feel the urgency in her voice so she went down quickly, and the first thing she was was Nathaniel's beat up face and ripped up clothes

"What the hell happened to you?" she rushed to his side

"Cobra Kai took the money and...." Demetri started with disdain

"They kicked the fucking shit outta me" Nathaniel interrupted, he was clearly pissed. Sam and Halley looked at each other, Cobra kai was getting more and more aggressive by the day and they had no idea what to do anymore, it was turning into a war and by the looks of it, they were losing

♢♢♢

"They need to be stopped" Sam said frustratedly, she looked at her cousin that was deep in thought

"Clearly" she nodded, her head was filled with fears, everything seemed like too much and she didn't know if they were gonna be able to handle it, if she was gonna be able to handle it

"We need to go back to training" she said determined "Tomorrow, we'll call everyone to the dojo and we will continue to learn to defend ourselves"

"Sam..." Halley started to shake her head "I- I'm not sure...I don't know if-" Halley sighed interrupting herself. The school fight was still fresh in her head, and the pain still lingered in her body, she wasn't sure she was even cleared to go back to fighting and even if she was, she didn't feel ready "I don't think that's a good idea"

"Come on, Halley" Sam shook her "Of course it is, it's an amazing idea, especially now. We can't let Cobra Kai get away with everything. We need to stop them"

"But why does it has to be us?" Halley was tired, she was tired of being thrown around and of feeling weak. She always considered herself as someone that was strong, capable of defending herself and after not being able to fight back enough against Angela it was as if she had a reality check, she wasn't as strong as she thought she was, she never was and she was dreading the fact that maybe she never will

"If not us, then who?" Sam insisted "We have to do something" she made emphasis in the word have

"Sam, I don't know, anyone but us" She shook her head "And I don't have to do anything"

"Why are you so against this?" Sam sat up to look at Halley properly

"Just because" Halley shrugged

"I won't accept that answer" Sam stubbornly said crossing her arms

"Well, too bad" Halley said finally and stood up from the bed "I'm going home. Have a good night, Sam" The brunette walked to the door "And don't bother waiting for me tomorrow, I won't be there"

♢♢♢

By the time Halley got home she was exhausted, her limbs were practically hanging from her body, her eyes were barely open and her mind was somewhere else, that's why she almost missed the suitcases in the living room, and she already knew what that meant

"Oh, Halley, you're back!" Her mom walked down stairs, her heels clicking with every step

"Yeah" she mumbled with a frown "Are you leaving?" she pointed at the suitcases

"Yes, your father received a call earlier and we had to pack and buy a flight in a rush" the woman smiled apologetically "We were waiting to see if you would come back before we left so we could say goodbye"

"Oh" Halley didn't know what to say, she loved her parents, she really did but sometimes she wished they were more like Daniel and Amanda, she wished she could rely on her parents like Sam does. Halley felt like her life was crumbling down and her parents didn't even noticed and now they were leaving

"Take care, honey. Be careful and make good choices" Christine kissed her daughters hair

"Yes, ma'am" she nodded

"Your dad is in our bedroom, go and say goodbye" Halley nodded and went up stairs with her head down

She knew the next morning she was gonna wake up in an empty house again, her parents would be gone and she would be left with no one but herself and she didn't like that one bit

Hello, hello

I feel so bad for Halley, like, I want her to be happy but at the same time I don't because I love writing angst, there are so many things to acknowledge this season that I don't even know how I'm gonna do it, tbh I don't even know what's exactly gonna happen from here on so.... that should be interesting
