CH 24

Bose's POV

4 Months Later

I'm at the hospital sitting in a chair next to Chapa holding her hand then Mika, Miles & Ray came in with food and find a place to sit.

Mika: Hungry, Bose?

I nod as she gave me a tray with food and we start eating a doctor came in to do a check up on Chapa.

Bose: Will she wake up soon?

Doc: Maybe. Have hope, kid.

He left the room and we continue to eat & chill but after a few hours the others left the room but I didn't want to leave her.

Bose: Please wake up... I miss you.

Then Mika came in so I kiss her forehead and was about to let her hand go when I felt a grip holding my hand like her life depends on it I look at Chapa and she was awake.

Chapa: ... Don't... Leave.

I was so happy that she's ok so was Mika then she left the room to get Ray & Miles.

Ray: Thank god!

Miles: How are you feeling?

Chapa: A bit of pain.

We all talk for a while when it was our time to go.

Bose: May I stay here for the night?

Doc: Hmmm.. I don't think so, kid.

Chapa: Let him stay. Please, Doctor John?

Without looking at her I know that Chapa is using puppy eyes on him.

Doc: Oh alright he can stay. But just for one night.

Bose: Then she'll come home! Right?

He smiles.

Doc: Depends.

When he left the room a nurse comes in & gets things ready for me as I sat by her feet then she smiles at me and I love that smile of hers so much then the couch bed was ready for me.

When I got ready for bed I noticed that Chapa was looking at me the entire time.

Bose: What?

Chapa: Nothing... I just missed you.

I got off the bed and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

Bose: I missed you too.
