I honestly do not know what to feel about this.

I fell back onto the hard ground, clouds of dust flying as I was impacted by the earth.

I know training to fight is difficult, but I did not expect it to be this hardcore!

This man shows no mercy.

Xia "Get up."

'Aaaaaaahhhyaw ko na!'

Xia "Come on now, bud, this is to protect yourself."

Maharlika "I know, but you don't have to start aggressively, do you?"

Tang "Oops, I guess it has been a long time since I taught someone."

He scratched his cheek and sheepishly smiled. I sighed.

If this is how this goes, I don't know if I could even move after this...

"Maharlika, open the door."

"Ama, I don't want to do this anymore!" I quickly responded while keeping the door shut so he shall not enter.

Ophir "Lika, anak, this is for your safety."

"But, I kind of regret it now..."

I heard him sigh.

"Maharlika.." He softly said.

"You never turn back on your word."

"Unless you need to. Do you hear me? And besides, we are not doing this for anyone but you."

He's right, I'm not taking this whole situation seriously.

'Think about what happened to your sister, Maharlika.'

Ophir "Lika?"

I slowly opened the door and took a peek at him. He chuckled. He must've known what I meant.

Ophir "You can't stay in there. Xia may be a little brutal, but he means well. Be glad that it wasn't your mother training you."

He looked terrified but still held a smile.

"..."

-Xia-

*sigh*

"Shut up."

I looked at Tondo, who somehow is annoyed at me for some reason.

"Thank you for the compliment."

"Oh, my Bathala."

We sat in silence. It has been like that for a few moments. Oh, how awkward, but even so, since he doesn't want to say something first, I might as well just start a conversation.

"Tondo." Or a question.

"What now?"

"I..." Is this a good time? He might give me the answer.
