Shergill Haveli was all decorated and dolled up. It isn't just a big palace but an entire estate. With the biggest part being the royal palace, some 5 minutes away from it is the ; Anjana Mahal, a cottage only for the Royal Princesses no one other than 4 princesses can use it. Anjana Mahal is the place where the Thakur Princesses ; Amrita, Devika, Ambika(Naina) and Nandita have their rooms and offices. For better safety this cottage was built decades ago and is now the sanctuary of the princesses. Nobody, even the fathers or the brothers can enter the Anjana Mahal without prior notice.
A temple is also situated on the grounds of the estates. The 75 bedroom palace was prepared enough to hold the guests of both of the royal families.
Inaayat Bhavan, a 18th century built banquet hall, Inaayat is the urdu for blessing. This is a hall cum banquet enough to hold the entire population of the Vatican City, this is the place where major events of the engagement celebrations will be held.

Arrangements were all on point. The preparations , after a week of hard work, were now complete. Royal jewellers and designers had arrived with big heavy cases of dresses and jewellery for the royal ladies. Menus for the caterers were already decided and taste tested. Devika's engagement saree , which is made by pure hand work, is being given final touches. Her jewellery for the engagement ceremony has been archived from the lockers and polished.
Suryavanshi's had departed Shreegarh and were on the way to Pathankot via jets. It was alright to say Shergills were prepared to host the in-laws of their favourite daughter and sister. The rooms and suites were readied, an entire wing of the palace was provided for their stay to make their stay comfortable and give them privacy for a little. The best suite of the western wing was prepared for Shauryaveer whilst all the other family members would have identical rooms.
The Chauhans had already arrived in Pathankot, only Zeha was left.
A fact of surprise, even Devika had not reached yet. She and Smarthy were in Bangalore fixing an important deal for the Shergills. They both were to arrive on the 22nd and directly appear in the formal engagement.
Representatives of the Shergill family greeted the Suryavanshis at the airbase and were tasked to escort them to the palace. These same mediators will henceforth be the counterparts on behalf of the Shergills to provide all the information to the Shreegarh royals for the engagement till wedding. The Shergills were notified once the jets landed at the airbase in Pathankot. It was fairly evening and dark when the Suryavanshis and their guests stepped in Pathankot, hence the beauty of Pathankot with its lush green hills and beautiful scenery wasn't laid to them.
The greetings happened, and the Shergills hosted an enamoured formal dining for the Suryavanshis. Ishaan and Sophia Shergill raised the toast and once the dinner ended the guests were shown to their respective rooms and the night ended with everybody anticipating the formal engagement the next day .

The Suryavanshi family was gathered in the garden of the Shergill palace. They were enjoying the early morning bliss while having tea in private. They were seated near the entryway.
A black sleek car entered the driveway and a young man probably 20 or 22 exited the Porsche while talking on his phone. And this was the one person who blew away the Suryavanshi family. He seemed to be in an important conversation as he stood beside the car, his luggage being carried in by the staff. One noticeable attribute was that this guy was utterly familiar with the staff and greeted them with a nod and the staff returned his greeting back.
The Suryavanshis are seriously taken aback by his appearance.

The guy appeared some years younger to me in age. His body is well built and he is probably rich enough, given his car, Rolex watch and textured grey suit.He looks unlikely familiar .
