you two are going to the festival together

3rd Person POV

the next day, mina had therapy. she had been going since she got to the school and overdosed. kinbott became a motherly figure to mina that helped her in Jericho. mina had her mom and Carlos back home, they had been her best friends and her family but sometimes you needed another figure like that in your life, and since she couldn't be with samira and Carlos, she took the comfort of kinbott. so there she was in the car with miss Weems as they got to the building and she stopped the car

"remember mina, everything is said in confidentiality and you will be safe. ms kinbott is here to listen and care for you. will you be okay?" she asked and mina nodded her head with a sigh

"ill be okay, I always am," she said and miss Weems smiled as she opened the door and she let mina out of the car. mina walked to the building and into the room as kinbott smiled at her and mina smiled back. she felt instantly comforted by the women in front of her.

"so mina sit, how are you today?" she asked and mina shrugged as she looked around the room

"better than usual" she responded and kinbott sighed

"family day is coming up soon, are they coming?" she questioned and mina shook her head with a sigh

"yeah, dad said he can't this year but mom and Carlos said that they are guaranteed to come here," she said with a bright smile, and kinbott smiled at the girl too.

"that's good I know you've been missing them a lot lately. " she exclaimed and mina smiled again. they continued to sit there as mina told her everything about her week and then when her time was up, she stood up and she hugged kinbott as kinbott was surprised but she hugged her back and mina took a deep breath. she was happy and comfortable in that moment, she let go and kinbott smiled at her as she smiled back

"be safe mina," she said and mina nodded as she left the room and went to the car. there was weems and she smiled at mina who smiled back

"good today?" she asked as mina got in the car and she nodded calmly and happily

"as it is any day" she said as weems started the car as she drove mina back to nevermore and she picked up Wednesday. mina and Wednesday crossed paths but they didn't say anything. mina was silent and so was Wednesday. Mina walked to her room and there was enid with yoko and divina. the two girls had became minas favorite couple and she couldn't see them with anyone else but each other.

"so I heard you two are going to the festival together" divina said as she pointed at mina and then at enid

"we are? where'd you hear that?" she asked and enid blushed after she heard the question

"oh well we just assumed but if you two truly arent..." yoko said and she led off as mina looked at enid and they both smiled

"are we?" mina asked enid

"only if you want to" enid said and yoko groaned at the two girls.

"okay well if you two are going together, get ready because we're going to leave soon and you should be with us when we do" yoko said and mina nodded and smiled at enid

"go get ready e" she said and enid nodded as she ran and went to her room. she changed and mina did too. Mina changed into a comfortable outfit that she didn't have to wear at school. it was one of her many comfort outfits that she put on when she got cold and she liked it. she enjoyed wearing it.

when she opened the door, there was yoko, divina and enid waiting for her. enid felt the blush growing on her face as she saw what mina was wearing. she saw the way mina smiled and enid smiled at her too.

"alright come on you cuties" yoko said and they all left the room together. mina held enids hand as enid held hers and they both smiled. they got on the bus and rode to jericho with everyone else.

Mina and Enid began to walk around together before enid was stopped by Wednesday and she looked at mina

"Ill let the two of you talk to each other" she said and she walked off as she went to the ring toss and threw them. Xavier walked over to the girl and he looked at her as she looked at him and she smiled

"ya know if you get any better, you might just win every single one" he said and she turned to him and smiled.

"maybe that's what I'm trying to do" she retorted and his eyebrows shot up with a smirk on his face

"win every single one for enid?" he asked and she nudged her elbow into his arm as they both smiled and laughed.

"how do you know?" she questioned and he was the one laughing now

"jesus mina everyone knows, you're so obviously in love with her" he said and she laughed

"I'm sorry" she said but what was she apologizing for? she was never truly in love with him, yes he was nice and pretty but she never loved him the way he loved her. he may have loved her but she didn't and she had no reason to apologize

"don't apologize mina, I'm happy for you truly" he said and then they looked around together as he saw Wednesday and he walked away. the game operator handed mina the stuffed dog and she smiled as she took it and brought it over to enid

"this is for you" she said and she looked at enids face which lit up and she smiled at the girl.

"for me? really?" she asked and mina nodded her head

"of course enid. do you like it?" she questioned and enid grabbed the dog as she looked at mina and nodded

"i love it" she said and there they stood smiling at each other living in their own perfect world.

if only they knew what was happening around them.
