THE FLIGHT TO THE MOORS HAD FELT LIKE HOURS, WHEN IN REALITY IT WAS ONLY A FEW MINUTES DUE TO HOW FAST MALEFICENT WAS FLYING.
her wings were growing tired and sore, but those pains seemed to be at the very back of her mind.
she was lucky, at least, that with the snap, it takes other planets a few minutes longer for the snap to take place.
within just another few seconds, maleficent landed harshly on the ground of the moors with a loud thud.
but she was only moments late.
some could be seen weeping, some confused, while some were still slowly drifting away.
with the most distraught look on the face most usually saw as calm, maleficent stumbled over to the three small fairies, two of which huddled around the other, who was slowly dissipating away.
the fairy dressed in red was frowning heavily as her small arms were slowly fading.
meanwhile, the green and blue fairy, thistlewit and flittle, were crying their little hearts out in worry.
maleficent falls to the ground on her hands and knees as both other fairies slowly start to fade, hugging each other as they go, tears in their eyes as they begged to not go.
many other creatures were lost that day.
many friends, partners, siblings, children.
all because of thanos.
the weeping could be heard throughout the entire planet of the moors, but by far, maleficent's was the loudest.
