Four months later
(Y/n's Pov)
It's been four months since Gensei take me in.
But instead of the sword training, I've been undergoing hand to hand combat and strengthening my body.
Gensei: Before you wield a sword again, you'll be working on turning yourself.... your own body into a weapon.
From carrying weights up and down the mountain to having danger beasts as a training partner.
During these times, I was introduced to Kōken, the Imperial Fist.
Though I learned to stop complaining and focused on getting stronger as soon as possible.
But the hell has yet to start.
In fact, it about being with my first test of this training.
Gensei: Y/n, you've been well-adjusted to my training these pass months. You've certainly improved and became sharper.
Y/n: Thank you.
I replied softly.
Gensei: We'll be ascending the mountain, that's where your test is.
We traveled up to the peak of the mountain where we had a beautiful view that I unfortunately couldn't see.

Y/n: So... what am I suppose to do?
Gensei: Your test should be any moment.
Y/n: My test? It's coming to me?
I heard heavy steps that grew closer.
Y/n: Gensei?
Gensei: Here it comes.
What the hell is coming?
KRRAAAAAAAGH!
That was a roar of savage beast.
It was approaching in front of us.
Gensei: Y/n, your test is to kill that beast before you.
