"CHARLOTTE DONT CALL HIM!" hailey yells as she laughs
"COME ON I WANNA SEE WHO HE IS" charlotte grace maybank says as she goes through her friends contacts
"i already described him!" hailey says, throwing her head back
"oh yeah the only thing you said was that his name is chris and that i would like him, i havent seen a picture of him. For all i know you could be setting me up with a 50 year old man." charlotte says
"fine, give me my phone" hailey says holding her hand out
she finds chris' contact and facetimes him, he answers after 4 rings. He was laughing as he yelled at nick
"chris shut the fuck up for a second" hailey says through the phone
"OKAY JUST PLEASE AGREE WITH ME HERE. LORELAI AND MAX WERE GOOD TOGETHER AND THEY SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN MARRIED." chris yells through the phone
"CHRIS THAT IS THE ABSOLUTE MOST INSULTING THING YOU HAVE EVER SAID TO ME" hailey yells through the phone "wait youre watching gilmore girls without me?"
"nick and i are, matt is waiting for you to get here to watch it with you" chris says with a grin
"okay well chris i made a friend and if you say 'woah, you have another friend?' i swear to god when i get there i will stab you right in the gut!" she says with a smile "okay so charlotte is here and like, i guess maybe i am trying to set you up with her and she wants to talk to you so i want to know if its okay to give her your number?" hailey rants
"can i see her?" chris asks with an interested tone
"yeah, look" hailey turns the phone to charlotte
"hi" charlotte says
"oh, hi" chris says, a grin on his face
"aww love at first sight!" hailey says happily
"yeah you can give her my number" chris says
"okay, bye chris, love you i guess" hailey says
"yeah love you too i guess" he says with an eye roll
hailey hangs up as her friend squeals, causing hailey to laugh softly. She gives charlotte chris' number and they just talk and talk on facetime. Charlotte and hailey met through ryans friend, and turns out they had a lot in common. Hailey hears a knock on the front door
"ill be right back" she says, leaving charlotte and going to the front door
she opens the door to see a messy haired brunette boy with blue eyes standing there.
"HOLY SHIT" she says, clinging her arms around his neck
"hey you!" matt says, hugging her back
"but wha- i me- why are you here?!" she asks
"youre not happy?" he asks, raising his eyebrows
"im ecstatic but i just didnt know you were coming!" she says happily as her dad appears behind her
"who is this?" her dad asks
"uh dad! this is matt" she says with a smile
"aha, come here matt" her dad says, matt looking terrified
hailey chuckles softly as matt walks in and she closes the door. He looked nervous as hell, like his heart was about to burst out his chest.
"how old are you?" her dad asks
"dad hes fifty four he just has really good skin products so he looks like a teenager" hailey says sarcastically
"uh, im seventeen, my birthday is august first" matt says with an awkward smile
"do you play any sports?" her dad asks
"yeah, im on the schools lacrosse team" matt says
"i like him!" her dad says, patting matts shoulder
"thank god" hailey mumbles, grabbing matts arm and taking him to her room
charlotte looks at the door, then at the phone, then back at the door
"what the fuck?" she asks
"chris is a triplet, i told you" hailey says as matt chuckles
"and who is this?" matt asks, a surprised look on his face
"charlotte, my friend, and dont you dare say anything else matt!" hailey says smiling
"my dad is here, bye" charlotte says, hanging up on chris "bye guys"
"bye!" hailey says, hugging her and charlotte leaves
matt and hailey sit on her bed in silence for about 5 minutes before he speaks up
"i havent been able to sleep" he says lowly
"what? why?" she asks
"i dont know, im constantly thinking if youre okay or what youre doing or if you fo- never mind its stupid" he says, shaking his head and looking down
"no, tell me" she says
"if you found someone else" he says lowly
"matt, literally no one will be able to beat you or your blue eyes other than your brothers. Plus, the boys here are disgusting and gross and they dont shower" she rants smiling, causing matt to chuckle.
She goes over to kiss his forehead, but he cups her face and kisses her which she returns. Of course, this caused both of them to blush like crazy as they pulled away
"shit, sorry that was stupid" he says, looking down and scratching the back of his neck
"matt i literally kissed you back, whats there to be sorry about?" she asks smiling
"i dont know, you just dont look good" he says
"pardon?" she asks, raising her eyebrows
"okay not like that, you just look kinda surprised" he says with a small, nervous chuckle
"because i am" she says, furrowing her eyebrows
"did you no-" he starts
"okay will you shut up so i can kiss you please?" she asks with a small smile on her face
he smiles as she kisses him, they both hear cheering from the doorway which were her dad and hayden
"FUCK OFF!" she yells, burying her face in her hands with a smile
"CAN I TELL THE OTHERS?" hayden asks, looking at matt
"NO!" matt yells
"oops, too late" hayden says, turning his phone around to see him on facetime with the friend group
"out. both of you" hailey says standing up
"what are you two gonna make out?" her dad teases
"yeah we are actually, bye!" she says, closing her door and locking it
"we are?" matt asks, raising his eyebrows
"i just wanted to get them out of here" she says smiling, grabbing the TV remote and putting gilmore girls on "what episode are you on?"
"season one episode fourteen" he says
she puts the episode on and they cuddle and watch it, his head on her chest, his arms around her waist, and her hand in his hair. They both fit in the bed so they just slept together and hayden slept in his separate bed.
