They rode across the moonlit beach of Santa Carla, well that was until they got to Henderson's bluff. When they got off the motorcycles and started descending the century-old stairs. "the last one to the cave is a rotten egg" Marko playfully shouted, "accidentally" tripping down a few stairs on the way down. Letting laddie take the lead in the race, "look like you beat me this time I am sure I will get you next time " Marko said dusting himself off and spontaneously running towards the little boy and putting him on his shoulders running into the cave. (Y/n) stood inside the cave flabbergasted at its mere beauty, "the vampire hotel is what the cave is called well at least by the locals anyway" Dwanye mentioned with a little side smile of pride. "Boys dinner time that includes guests" David announced taking a seat in his chair, gesturing towards the seat next to him (Y/n) not wanting to be rude took the seat. David snapped his fingers at Paul's "Food" and paul nodded at his leader's request and got up and left.
"So (Y/n) tell us about yourself, how did you in this awful town anyway?" David inquired, "oh I moved here at the request of my mother," They said uncomfortably, Fortunately, Paul came back with the food before David could ask any more unwanted questions. The food began to circulate, and out of the corner of their eye (Y/n) saw David's hand outstretched holding a Chinese takeaway container. They shook their head as if to refuse the food handed to them, but he insisted that they take it because they looked starved.
When (Y/n) stared down the food cautiously, "Come on (Y/n), eat up, or don't you like rice? how could a billion chinses people be wrong"david joked letting out a soft chuckle. They took the container out of David's hand, and rapidly consumed the food. "how do you like the maggots, Maggots (Y/n) you eating maggots how do they taste?"David busted out in laughter and the room soon followed. "wh...what are you talking about David?" Sure enough, when they look down at their food they were thousands of maggots swarming around. (Y/n) felt physically repulsed by the maggots, and they immediately throw down the food on the floor and spat it out.
"Hey (Y/n) you could've just said that you did want the rice jeez," Marko said with a disrespected tone, (Y/n) looked at the food on the floor. sure enough, it was just normal white rice. Bewildered, (Y/n) just sat there trying to piece together what was happening. Suddenly they felt something freezing grasp their hand, it was David's hand. "Hey (Y/n) no hard feelings huh," david said sincerely, they just smiled in response. "Oh here try some of these noodles"David handed (Y/n) his container of food, and they looked down into the container it was full of worms. They jokingly told David that there were worms, " what worms?" David questioned putting a mouthful of the noodles in his mouth. (Y/n) snatched the food back from David, and sure enough, was just noodles, the room busted out with laughter.
Marko moved toward David as he whispered in his ear "get the wine," Marko nodded like an obedient dog and strode off deeper into the cave. Not long after, Marko came back with a wine bottle in his hand and passed it to David. Everybody was silent in apprehension, Star was standing beside (Y/n) now. David tossed back the drink, "Be one of us Emerson, be one of us" now passing off the drink to (Y/n). They were all slowly chanting "(Y/n),(Y/n)". "it is blood" Star stated forewarningly. (Y/n) brushed off star's ominous warning, and took a swig from the bottle.
The cave erupted with cheers and shouts of joy, Ever since they drank from that bottle (Y/n) did not feel real anymore like they weren't in their body. As the night staggered on, they felt more and more out of it. So much so that when they woke up, in the morning they were back in their own bedroom with their clothes still on.
"where did you go last night (Y/n) did you have a fun time?" sam interrogated, "piss off sam I ain't in the mood" (Y/n) dismissed him irritatingly. "look who has a hang over" sam playfully joking quietly stepping over to the curtains and opened them, "uh, close the fucking curtains and get out of my room " moving their arms over eyes to shield them from hellish light called sunlight. "No need to be so rude, also mom told me to tell you to ring her when you got up she needs to talk to you" sam removed himself from their room finally, (Y/n) uses their hand to reach over to the telephone on the nightstand. "Hello mom, how are you?" they yawned, "hello darling I am very good thanks for asking I have a favor to ask can you look after sam tonight? because I going out to dinner with Max(her boss)" Lucy said in her usual bubbly tone, "Mom isn't Sam old enough to look after himself"(Y/n) let out an annoyed sigh.
"I know he is capable of looking after himself but it is because of all of the people going missing recently I don't want to risk it I will even pay you if you would like," Lucy said, " No mom you do not need to pay me because I know you just got the new job and probably aren't earn much so just promise me that you would not worry and have a good time love you"(Y/n) said thoughtfully. "Ok thank you again love you I need to go bye enjoy" the line went dead, They put the phone back got up, and put sunglasses on because for some reason their eyes were really sensitive to sunlight. "why are you wearing sunglasses inside (Y/n)" sam inquired, They just walked past Sam went near to the front door. "Hey, Sam do you mind staying here? for a little while don't worry Grandpa is still there I need to get something from the store" Sam give a slight nod and they left and went off to the boardwalk. In the hope of confronting the bastards that they were hanging with last night
Their predictions were correct, they were in the same spot next to around mary go around. (Y/n) rapidly ran up to David took him up by the collar, and pinned him up against the wall "You bloody platinum-haired bastard what the fuck did you do to me?" (Y/n) bellowed, and all David could let out was a cold, hard chuckle and arrogant grin. "Answer me, motherfucker, or I will kill you now here right now" David poked his head to whisper to (Y/n), "I didn't do shit to you brought this upon yourself I mean following the most feared gang in Santa Carla seems like a really stupid decision to me" David scowled, They swiftly released their grip on him. they impulsively turned around and with their full might slapped david right on the cheek.
As they just registered what they just did, they regained themselves and ran at full speed back home. All of the boys were offering to chase after them, But David just stood there holding his hand over his cheek, trying to calm the sting. There was now a big red hand mark imprinted on his cheek, "Boys drop it, I know They will be running back here asking for my help soon enough" letting out a vengeful laugh
