Now it's annoying

"How do you lose him in a bathroom with no windows?" Wednesday asked as Thing was hiding behind a plant.

Thing did a shrug and I looked at Wednesday confused. I have no clue what she was talking about, but I'm sure I was going to get an answer. Even if I have to force it out of Wednesday myself.

"A leftly wouldn't have failed me." Wednesay said causing me to gasp slightly, a fight between a hole person and hand.

I wonder how that's going to go.

"Don't sulk. Now I'm going to have to find new evidence myself, since you lost our only lead." Wednesday demanded when I interrupted the conversation

"What lead?" I asked looking between the hand and Wednesday.

"It's a long story." Wednesday replied looking in my direction.

"I see you finally found a friend." Bianca laughed with her friends because, you couldn't see Thing behind the plant.

That was the whole point.

"Even if it is a plant." Bianca said and I was going to say something but Wednesday just gave me a look telling me to shut up.

So I did.

"I go for quality over quantity." Wednesday replied.

Bianca rolled her eyes as I sat in my seat behind Xavier. Wednesday sat down beside me sense there was nowhere else to sit. Ajax was sitting by Xavier and Enid was sitting with Yoko.

Xavier used his powers to bring the spider he drew to life before making it fly onto mine and Wednesday's table. I rolled my eyes, because this was something he did often.

It was cool at first, now it's annoying.

"I doubt Wednesday is impressed by your tricks, Mr. Thorpe. And clearly Nixi isn't either." Ms. Thornhill said looking at our table from the front of the room.

"Admit it, you're a little impressed." Xavier said smiling at Wednesday.

Xavier likes Wednesday, it was obvious.

Wednesday looked at me motioning towards the spider with her eyes. I couldn't help but smile.

And I smashed the Spider.

The room broke out into a fit of laughter as Wednesday looked at me with a blank expression while I smirked at Xavier. He rolled his eyes and turned back around in his seat as I rested my chin in my palm.

"Wednesday, we're thrilled to have you join us on our journey into the world of carnivourous plants." Ms. Thornhill said walking in front of her desk.

"Now...who can tell us the name of this beauty?" Ms. Thornhill asked, and like usual both mine and Bianca's hands shot into the air.

While we were dating she helped me out with homework and classes. Now I'm one of the smartest kids in school. I just hate that it was because of Bianca's help.

"Dendrophylax lindenii." Wednesday said before either me or Bianca could answer causing both our jaws to drop.

"Oherwise known as the-" Bianca tried to explain but I cut her off.

"Ghost Orchid." I said sticking my tounge out at her.

Causing Ajax to lean back in his chair and wack my arm. I just rolled my eyes leaning forward and wacking the backside of his head.

"First discovered on the Isle of Wight in 1854." Wednesday continued to explain as my jaw dropped again, I doubt Bianca knew that.

"Very good, Wednesday." Ms. Thornhill said with a slightly shocked expression, "Look like you may have some competition for first chair, Bianca."

What like I'm not a competetion?

"Wednesday, perhaps you can identify the ghost orchid's greatest qualities." Ms. Thornhill said turning from Bianca to Wednesday.

"Resilience and adaptability." Wednesday said faster then I could think of one of those answers, "It's able to thrive in even the most hostile enviorments."

"But it's mere presence can change the ecosystem, causing the established plants to reject it." Bianca said with her usual 'I'm a know it all' face.

"Usually because the native species is allowed to thrive unchecked." Wednesday replied with the same blank expression.

I don't know how she does it.

"Nothing a Weedwacker couldn't fix." Wednesday finshed and I couldn't help but smile. Sometimes I wish I could take a weedwacker to Bianca's head.

Just don't tell anyone I said that.

"You can most certainly try." Bianca replied.

"Are we still talking about flowers?" Xavier asked out of nowhere, but he had a point, I don't think we're talking about flowers anymore either.

"Thank you, ladies, for those illuminating insights." Ms. Thornhill said with a forced smile, "Clearly the plants aren't the only carnivores in class today."

"You just barley realized that?" I asked causing Ms. Thornhill to glare at me and I just shrugged.
