Daikan:"The Faction of Space and Dimensions is quite a tricky thing"
Daikan was explaining to us the way the Faction worked as we arrived to the next city, it seemed abandoned too, however it also had a hint of security to it, like a safe point in a game
Daikan:"Ever since Corruption reached this place, the Faction rotated every two hours, it is impossible to predict what way it will rotate to, but whenever it does the cities just gamble around between each other for a minute or two, if you lost something in a previous city or landscape you can start forgetting about it"
Cody:"So wait a minute, does it mean we have been literally walking in circles?" Asked Cody my same doubt
Daikan:"Yes and no, since the incident it has been happening, however ever since you two arrived i have only seen the cities rotate about two or three times, and those times were when you were about to meet with other powerful Essences..."
Yus:"You must mean Spooky and the others, do you know where exactly they are!?"
Daikan:"I do know yes, but..."
He stopped walking, turning to me
Daikan:"I'm afraid i cannot take you to them"
Cody snapped his fingers, understanding what he meant
Cody:"I get it, those times you have seen the cities rotate are because Yusuru's friends were close to us?" Eh?
Daikan:"Correct, the Pillar wants to keep you away from them"
Yus: Now i see...Sora believes we're more vulnerable if we're separated...
Daikan:"However, i'm sure she didn't expect Cody to become your ally, that is something on your favor" He was right, Cody has been a great help while i haven't had my blade, and i must thank that fact...
Cody:"It makes sense, Yusuru alone would be an easy target to eliminate considering her power, if what he said is true of course"
We arrived to the city once he finished speaking, Daikan threw at me a metal pipe that i could hold with ease
Yus:"What's this for?"
Daikan:"For self defense, Sora wont be letting you a rest if my assumptions are true, she must be watching us as we speak"
???:"You're all too right, Daikan~" A playful, feminine voice resonated as we heard the sound of space splitting apart
Cody:"BEHIND!" Shouted Cody while pointing behind me
Daikan:"Limitless" As Daikan spoke, a clock appeared behind me to protect me from the hammer coming from Sora, parrying it before the clock broke into parts
The three of us stood at the side of each other, looking at our newly arrived opponent Sora who stood proudly with her axe hammer
Sora:"My my, you allied with someone else, this dimension must be more fun than i suspected for you, i'm glad~" Her voice was more confident than before, more...flirty..?
Daikan:"Pillar of Dimensions..."
Sora:"I came to congratulate you for figuring out the matter of the cities for yourselves, you're all smart as i suspected" Her hammer fell on the ground, hitting and breaking the street
Cody's suit activated from his watch, appearing in it as he extended a hand to his side, covering me
Cody:"I'm not sure what she wants, but i have a bad feeling about this, stay behind Yusuru..." He was right, her gaze wouldn't leave my direction, something was up
