filming was interrupted- respectfully- with house hunting every once a while. whenever matthew would have more two days open on his schedule, they'd drive to his mother's house and she'd take them through his old stomping grounds.
a few weeks in, they found an old victorian style house on the edge of town. there was spacious yards between them and neighbors, and a 15 minute drive from laura's and marilyn's houses, respectfully in either direction. it was a perfect happy medium for them to have reached.
throughout the filing of the season, they began signing paperwork and eventually, they closed the offer. they bought a house.
it was a tuesday afternoon and matthew was wrapping up his final scene for the day. charlotte was hanging out in his trailer, awaiting him to finish so they could head home. she didn't always hang around set, but sometimes she'd drive him there and back to get out of the house every once and awhile.
