Emerald's Pov

I along the corridors of the helicarrier towards Furys office with a file in my hand filled with all the information i gathered while on my two year long mission. I just want to be reunited with my brother because, boy, have i missed him, and i definitely want to have some of my sister in laws delicious stew she makes. Those two years on thay mission have been the hardest years i have ever had because the whole time i was fighting for my life while also getting the information Fury wanted. Everything that happened in that horrifying place has sent me back to a mental place i never wanted to go back to. I think every agent that walks past me knows not to mess with me right now because they take one look at me and either walk past me without saying a word or they turn around and go the other direction.

When i make it to Furys off, i dont knock or make my presence known. i just storm inside, slamming the file onto his desk, making him look at me. I see his face turn into shock when he takes in my appearance since i'm still covered in blood, covered in bruises, and have countless cuts and bullet wounds. I think he now understands how dangerous his little mission was that he sent me on because there is no way that mission was as easy as he thought it was. If i wasn't a good, well trained agent, there is no way in hell i would have made it back from that misson because there is no way a normal recruit or agent could have done that mission. I bend down and rest my hands on his desk, staring into his one good eye, knowing he is going to worry any minute now.

"You need to go to the infirmary now." He said, standing up

"Out of the question. I want to get back to my brother and sister in law. I want a jet prepared to take me to his farmhouse and now Fury." I said, keeping my hands on his desk

"I'm afraid you can't go there. Your brother isn't there." He said, making me glare at him

"Where the fuck have you sent him Fury. It better not be on one of you so-called easy missions because i swear to lucifer himself that if my brother is harmed, no one on this helicarrier is safe. That alone means you have to announce code red because i will not stop until i find my brother. So i will ask you once more, Fury. Where the fuck is my brother." I said punching his desk

"Raven. You need to calm down." He said softly

"Don't tell me to calm the fuck down." I snap angrily

"For me to tell you where Agent Barton is i need you to be calm." He said walking around his desk to stand next to me

"You better tell me where he is right fucking now or so help me god, me pinning you to the wall won't be your only problem." I said grabbing him by his trench coat and pinned him against the wall

"He's with the Avengers. At the stark tower." He said with a knowing look in his eyes

"Avengers? Who the hell are they?" I asked, letting go of his coat and stepping back

"Do you remember what we talked about when i mentioned organising a team to take down Hydra so you wouldn't have to do it alone?" He asked, smoothing down his coat

"Yes, i remember." I said, crossing my arms

"The Avengers consists of seven members." He said as he walked out of his office, waving for me to follow

"First, we have Tony Stark, and I'm pretty sure you know who Tony is." He said jokingly as we walked down the corridor side by side

"Of course i do. Everyone knows who Tony is." I said, rolling my eyes

"Then we have Steve Rogers. You remember the stories i told you about him, don't you?." He said as we got to the landing strip

"Yes, i remember. Coulson wouldn't stop telling me about Rogers." I said, remembering all the stories

"We found him frozen in ice. He is alive and a part of the Avengerr working alongside Stark." He said with a big smile

"Of course, we had to have Dr. Bruce Banner on the team, and i know for certain you know who Banner is." He said as we walked up a ramp onto a jet

"Banner as in Hulk, right?" I said, trying to remember

"Yes, as in Hulk." He said, nodding at the pilot

"The most deadly member of the team Natasha Romanoff, a.k.a. black widow. She is one of our best agents and not someone that you want to mess with." He said as we both sat down and buckled up

"Natasha." I whispered her name, feeling my body tingle

"Sam Wilson. He used to be in the Air Force and is a friend of Steve Rogers. Then there is the Maximoff twins. Wanda and Pietro Maximoff. Wanda is known as the scarlet witch. She is a mind reader and telekinesis, and her brother is a speedster. He runs really fast. They call him Quicksilver." He said as the Jet goes air born.

"The twins sound like fun training partners." I said, smirking at Fury

"There will be none of your crazy workouts. I do not want two members down with broken bones." He said in a warning tone

"Fine, fine." I said, holding my hands up in surrender

"Thor, who is the god of thunder from a place called Asgard. He can be very loud at times, so be prepared for that. He is also very puppy like, and he is addicted to pop tarts. There is someone called vision, and he is a robot that Tony and Banner made. Very annoying person if you ask me  but you know I'm easily annoyed." He said, watching the pilot

"I'm the only person who doesn't annoy you." I said, rolling my eyes

"Lastly, there is your brother Clint Barton, one of our agents really good with arrows, as you know." He said just as i feel the jet landing

"He isn't as good as me." I said, crossing my arms

"But we could use someone like you, Raven, if you’re interested." he says, smirking at me as he takes stands up

"I want to meet them first and see how well they fight. I don't want to be on the team only to be picking up all the slack. I want to make sure they are capable of protecting themselves." I said, standing up and walking down the ramp
