Fourteen

Emerald's Pov

I'm laying here with Peter cuddling into my left and Natasha cuddling into my right, both of them fast asleep while i stare at the ceiling. They both haven't moved from my side since i woke up this morning, and every time Bruce would come close to me, they would both tell him to stop. The thing is, the only reason they don't want him close to me is they are scared he will sedate me again, which explains why they won't leave my side. So Bruce took it upon himself to sit on a stool at the bottom on my bed and told me everything that had happened while i was sedated.

After hearing everything, i told him to bring Clint down here so i could speak to him, but that was a bad idea because as soon as i asked, that code green happened. Bruce's whole body turned green as Hulk made his appearance, and i held the two people, either side of me, a little tighter. Hulk took one look at me, then smashed his way out of the medical room, startling Natasha and Peter. They both saw the Hulk sized shape in the wall, and then they both started to fuss over me, looking for injuries, and i had to repeatedly tell them i was fine. It took me a few hours to get them to go back to sleep, and that is why i am now staring up at the ceiling wondering what my next move should be.

I can't ask Bruce again because, well, he has gone all Hulk and disappeared. I could as Friday to send Clint down here, but i know Tony would find out, and they would mean everyone would come down here. I sigh, feeling a headache starting, and i know there is only one thing i could do to get the answers i need. It means calling the two people who know what that change was and what could happen next. I look out of the window up at the cloud filled sky and whisper their names, hoping they would hear me.

In seconds, i see something that resembles a rainbow shoot down from the sky behind the clouds, and the ground starts to shake. Then i see green mist appear in a large ball, and when the mist clears Loki and Thor are standing there with worried looks on their faces. I knew instantly Loki had teleported himself and Thor here from wherever they landed outside. They both look around, and when their eyes land on me, they both rush over with happiness, shock, and relief in their eyes. They both stood on either side of the bed, looking at me with small smiles on their faces, and Thor put his hand on my forehead but pulled it back with a hiss.

"You have a temperature." He said, looking at Loki

"It's just the last phase in the transition, brother. She will be fine once it passes." Loki said softly

"What is happening?" I whispered, looking at the both of them

"When your Asgard blood took over, you started going through your goddess transformation. You didn't have the ceremony like my brother and i, so we are not sure what you are, the goddess off, and you aren't in Asgard to lessen the pain." Loki informed me, making me tense up

"So on simple terms I'm transiting and it's going to be pain as fuck?" I asked looking into Loki's eyes

"Yes. If you had the ceremony, you would have been able to pick a dagger that calls to you, and that dagger would have taken the pain from you as you held it. The transition would have been quicker and more painless with the dagger. The dagger would have also shown us what you are the goddess off so we could make preparations to help with your powers' appearance." Thor answered worriedly

"We brought the daggers." Loki said as an old box appeared in his hands

"Isn't it a but late for that?" I asked, raising an eyebrow

"As midgardians say. It's better late than never." Loki said, sounding amused

"So, do i just pick one that calls to me?" I said while looking down at sleeping Natasha and Peter

"Yes, but be careful because when you hold it and surge od power with flow through you, it will add a bit of pain for a few seconds, then all the pain will disappear." Loki answered my question as he opened the box, revealing all the daggers

My eyes immediately lock onto a dagger that is blue and black with two half-moon shapes on it. I gently pick it up, not paying attention to the other daggers, and when i have it tightly into my hand, i grit my teeth as a surge of power and pain travelled through me.

"Oh my. You are -"

"The goddess of the night and fertility like myself." Thor said, cutting Loki off

"Thor, get ready for her powers. She will be able to control darkness, night, rest, shadows, and endings. She will also be able to have children with anyone no matter the person complications. " Loki said with eyes glazed over, not taking his eyes off me

"T-The pains gone." I said, relaxing as I ignored their conversation

"I'll go and inform the team and Fury." Thor said, then ran out the room

"How dangerous am i Loki?" I asked him

"You aren't dangerous. You just need the right training." He said, snapping out his daze

"I can control endings, whatever that means, so I must be dangerous." I whisper quietly

"Control endings mean. You control who dies and who lives." He said, closing the old box

"What!?" I whisper yell in shock

"We will go through all that information when you are out of this room and are well enough to train, but for now, you must rest, niece." He said softly

"But -"

"You are pain-free now, so rest as much as he can." He said, cutting me off
