After both of them were done eating they joked around and played in the park
"Hahaha! You know you're actually a pretty funny Kageyama!" Yamaguchi said
"Oh, so you didn't think I was funny before!?" Kageyama replied
"No! No! I didn't mean it like that it's just I didn't know we had so many things in common" Yamaguchi said turning to look at Kageyama
"It's nice to hang out with someone different....wait that sounds rude! I mean i like being with Tsukki, love it in fact but it's nice to have someone different once and a while"
"Yeah I understand I mean technically the only friend I have is Hinata but apart from volleyball we're pretty different," Kageyama said "Our personalities are pretty different we don't really like the same things like shows, food, and clothes things like that...but I'm still grateful for him he got me out of my comfort zone he teached me so many things that I would never have learned by myself" Kageyama smiled and looked over at Yamaguchi "Wah?! Why are you teary-eyed!?"
"That's just so nice of you to say, I would have never thought you were capable of being this nice!"Yamaguchi said while trying not to sob
"Is that supposed to be a compliment?"Kageyama replied
-Half an hour later-
"Okay we should get going it's getting dark already," Kageyama said
"Aw okay 😕" Yamaguchi stood up from the swing he was on and grabbed his bag
"I- I can walk you home if you want..." Kageyama muttered while putting his bag over his shoulder.
"Really!? You would do that?" Yamaguchi stood in front of him waiting for an answer.
"Sure! I mean you don't mind right?" Kageyama asked
"Of course not! c'mon let's go my dad will get worried if I don't get home before supper!"
Yamaguchi grabbed Kageyama's wrist and walked to his house
-15 minutes later-
"Okay, finally we're here!" Yamaguchi said, "Hey, why don't you come in and have supper with us?"
"Would your dad mind?" Kageyama asked
"Nah I don't think he would care, he's pretty chill," Yamaguchi said opening the door to his house
"Ah, Tadashi where have you been!? I was starting to get worried!" Yamaguchi's dad said while getting his apron off
"Sorry dad, I was with a friend! Actually, can he join us for supper?" Yamaguchi asked
"Of course, he can! I made enough for three people by mistake" Yamaguchi's dad chuckled
"Yeah you've been doing that for more than a couple of months -_-" Yamaguchi said
"Alright you two can go wash up while I set up the table," He said one last time before walking over to the table that had three plates already there
"Okay we won't take long!" Yamaguchi yelled out "C'mon let's go upstairs" Yamaguchi lead the way to his room
"You have a nice room," Kageyama said
"Thanks!" I'm still waiting for a couple of posters to come in the mail so I can cover that wall" Yamaguchi said
"Oh? Is something wrong with that wall?" Kageyama asked
"Well not physically," Yamaguchi said "This used to be my mom's room, she painted all over that wall so I just decided to cover it up with posters so I wouldn't have to see it"
"Oh, do you have a bad relationship with your mom?" Kageyama asked with a concerned look.
"Yeah, I guess you could say that," Yamaguchi said "Anyway enough of that! You can go ahead and wash up first I'll change in the meantime"
"Yeah alright" Kageyama responded heading to the bathroom
Kageyama washed his face and hands still thinking about the conversation he just had with Yamaguchi. And now that he thought about it Yamaguchi always had stories involving his dad and never really talked about his mom.
"Guess we have more in common than I thought"
-Hello! I don't have much to say besides that YOU should go read "Jackson's diary" bc holy crap I tune in for that shit fr (it's on webtoon). Also, I'm going to make a Christmas side story since I have an idea and I actually did start to write it but I don't like how it's turning out so I'm just going to write an entirely new story. And a little life update ig? So my parents told me to choose between two blue and red guitars and I don't know which one I want yet. I'm probably going to choose one of the blue ones bc it's the model that I wanted just blue and it's really pretty!. AND hurray me bc I got a 3 out of 4 on my science test(it's for one of the only test I've actually passed in that class 🥹. Anyway like always please stay safe out there and take care, byee!
